**1 Star** I would avoid this app. The company advertises a refund policy if you've used the app fewer than 15 times. I stayed within what I believed was the trial period, used the app during the **3-day trial**, and then, immediately after the trial ended, I was charged **$334 CAD** for an annual subscription. Within about **20 minutes of being charged**, I contacted support and requested a refund for the **annual subscription**, not the trial itself. Their response? Because I had used the app more than 15 times **during the trial period**, they refused to refund the annual charge. That makes no sense. The purpose of a trial is to actually try the product. If usage during the trial permanently disqualifies you from receiving a refund on the subscription you were charged for immediately afterward, then the refund policy is incredibly misleading. As for the software itself, if you're buying this because you think it will help your writing avoid AI detection, save your money. The output reads like an extremely rough first draft. It introduces spelling mistakes, awkward grammar, and unnatural phrasing that make the writing noticeably worse. Instead of sounding more human, it often sounds less polished—as though someone rushed through it without proofreading. I requested a refund almost immediately after the annual charge appeared. Refusing to refund a **$334 CAD** subscription because of usage that occurred during the free trial is not the kind of customer service I expected. I won't be using this app again.
Title: Shady billing and absolute bullshit customer treatment This website advertises the membership as $11 per month, but the fact that they charge the entire year upfront was buried in tiny text. I ended up getting charged $145.07. Yes, I accept that I should have noticed the fine print, but the way they presented the price felt deliberately misleading and shady as hell. I disputed the charge because of the misunderstanding. They fought the dispute, won, kept my $145.07, and then terminated my access to the service. So these assholes took the full annual payment and gave me absolutely nothing in return. Support then basically told me that I would have to subscribe and pay again. This whole experience felt like a flipen scam. Making the monthly price huge while hiding the annual charge in tiny text is deceptive bullshit. Keeping someone’s full payment while also taking away the product they paid for is disgusting. I would never trust this company with my card again. Stay the hell away.

Think twice before paying for Phrasly.AI to "humanise" your copy. I signed up for the 3-day trial because it advertised unlimited usage. In reality, it wasn't unlimited at all. After using it only three times, I was blocked from using the service further. I contacted customer support immediately to ask why I had supposedly reached an "unlimited" limit. I was told that someone would respond within 24 hours. That was completely unacceptable because I only had a three-day trial and wanted to make the most of the time I had paid for. As I urgently needed to humanise my CV, support suggested I upgrade to the Aggressive option, claiming it would provide better results and remove the restrictions. I paid an additional £14.81, expecting full, unlimited access. Instead, the output was full of serious inaccuracies and completely changed the meaning of my CV. Here are just a few examples: • "International money transfer company" was changed to "cash converters Dropzone", a skydiving company. What does skydiving have to do with my career? It made absolutely no sense. • My job title of Marketing Specialist was rewritten as self-employed. I have never described myself as self-employed anywhere on my CV. • "Following trademark challenges" became "after losing trademarks." This is simply false. We did not lose any trademarks. We successfully overcame the challenges and completed a company rebrand. These are not minor wording changes; they are factual errors that completely misrepresent my career history. I requested a refund on the same day I upgraded because the service was clearly not fit for purpose and I had no intention of using it again. My refund request was refused. I have since contacted my bank to dispute the payment, but I also wanted to share my experience so that others don't fall into the same trap. Advertising "unlimited" usage while restricting customers after only a few uses is, in my opinion, misleading. Combined with AI-generated content that invents facts and changes the meaning of professional documents, I found the service extremely disappointing.
