I played piano as a teen. Lost the talent over years of not playing with no piano access. Joined PbP and now can play again. I have the ability to get so much PbP music and now playing more songs than ever.

I love the Piano by Pictures online classes. I have really learned a lot and picked up more than I learned as a child who never understood piano. Today I’ve been with them for less than 6 months and I can really play so many songs now ! It is so simplified that I began teaching my grand children. And they love it to. Thanks Dr Ryan and team for this academy and your dedication to music You are wonderful instructors !!!

Learning with piano by pictures is easy able to play song in 10 minutes.The teachers are great with a higher degree in music! So they know music theory a lot.!

Never too old to learn piano.

At age 78 I was looking for a website to learn to play piano. The teachers on this site work with new students at all levels to learn, as well as making it fun so I won't give up.

Piano by Pictures (PbP) is a great…

Piano by Pictures (PbP) is a great program for people who have always wanted to play piano. They use pictures instead of sheet music which makes playing so much easier and quicker. I was skeptical at first but I took the plunge and stepped out on faith and I have been a member for the past three years. It is worth every penny and it is much more affordable than a private instructor AND you can go at your own pace. I will be performing solo at an event in October. That is an amazing feat for someone who had zero experience 3 years ago.

A great learning experience

I now enjoy learning how to play piano at my own pace at home. The zoom classes and recorded lessons on the website are helpful and enjoyable. The staff is positive and helpful.

I love all the classes I have access to! The instructors are varied in styles & talents, & there is so much I glean. Piano by Pictures has immensely helped my piano playing. I am grateful. So glad I stumbled across PbP a couple years ago. God is good!

In Dec 2025- Ordered books

In Dec 2025, while beginning chemo treatments I ordered the Piano books. I emailed RYAN KELLY and let him know that I was not able to commit to a subscription at the moment. I paid for the books and never even read them. In March my bookkeeper informed me that PAINObyPictures had been taking a monthly payment of $37 on my credit card. I never authorized that monthly payment, not sure how that happened. I called PbyP and spoke to a very rude and disrespectful CS rep named Scott. He was condescending as well and would not even consider my situation. He offered on month refund and cancelled the subscription. I am so disappointed and think they are running a scam by forcing subscriptions on innocent naive parties like my self. Buyer beware wish I never ordered the books. Perhaps it was chemo brain but I have no recollection of authorizing payment. I would like a full refund since I never used any of the materials. Please advise

SCAM: READ THE SMALL PRINT AND WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I saw their ad, was curious and purchase a book for $12.87. They shipped the book but then billed me $37 per month after that. When I called to tell them I did not sigh up for any monthly service they claimed they could only refund the past 30 days. They ended up scamming me for $111.

Ordered the book to try. They snuck in a forty dollar a month subscription

The premise sounds interesting. Play piano by watching graphics lined up with the piano keys. We tried it and did not like it. Then, a forty dollar a month subscription kicked in. I believe it was snuck by us. It was not observable during order for the first books to test.

Buyer Beware

I bought a couple of books on December 11, 2025, I did not sign up for an "academy" or agree to a recurring subscription. Thankfully, my credit cards are always locked unless and until I'm ready to use them because this business has tried to charge my card over and over and over again. They have also bombarded me with texts and emails. Read the reviews on the BBB to find other people have had a similar experience. I am very disappointed in this company for their shady and unethical business billing practices. Buyer beware.
