I like how Pilot Institute breaks down…

I like how Pilot Institute breaks down all of the finer points of regulation and rules for both drone piloting and private pilot training. Their explanations coupled with video and graphics makes the material very easy to understand.

I just purchased my first Drone

I just purchased my first Drone, a DJI Avata 2, and I’m going to learn everything from scratch. My best dreams ever are when my body takes off to start flying above everyone else around me, the emotion it produces is the best feeling I’ve ever had… so I will try to recreate a bit of that experience with this FPV (First-Person View) Drone. I’ll open it on Christmas day! I found very nice recommendations for the PilotInstitute in YouTube videos, and by browsing on all the learning resources they have available, I feel that I’m in the right place! My goal now is to get the Part 107 License. Steps: - Take the course on Recreational Drone Flying - Take the course on the DJI Avata 2 - Learn the basics on how to fly my Drone - Learn to fly drones with a standard controller in a Drone Simulator on Steam - Learn the basics on how to fly my Drone with the standard controller - Take the course to pass the Part 107 Test - Pass the Test and get the License!

Very well put together

Very informative

Very informative guide. Easy to listen to and isn't full of unnecessary details.

Very Interesting Information

Drone LiDAR, Mapping, Surveying & Modeling

Very informative, I have definitely recognized several procedures that will help improve not only my knowledge, but will also be a benefit to the company I work for. They're several things that I have realized we haven't been doing or required to do with our mission data both pre and post flight. Excellent training modules Jared! Now I would like to recieve software specific training like DJI Terra, TerraScan, TerraMatch & Pix4D

Just the facts...

Clear and thorough description of the UAV and its controls. The instructor had to gloss over some stuff, sure. But I imagine that was due to time constraints. Nonetheless, good stuff. Would recommend.
