My experience with Beeler's Virtual Billiard Academy was/is tremendous. I have been with Anthony for 3 years now. He is an exceptional instructor. 100% professional. For me he was the right guy. Follow his instructions your game will improve noticeably.
Anthony is a wealth of knowledge in the game and he is a great resource to speak with on how to improve your game. One thing I really like the most about Anthony is he is very open minded about different styles, techniques, and overall figuring out what works best for you as a player. If you are looking for a great resource to improve your game. You need to speak with Anthony Beehler.
He took time with me. He explained the reasons and results of what he was showing you. Easy to relate to. So much knowledge of the game.
Anthony Beeler’s Do You Want to Play Like a Pro? is honestly a game-changer if you’re wanting to get better at pool. The full-color pictures make everything super easy to follow, and he breaks things like cue-ball control, angles, and aiming down in a way that actually makes sense. What I really liked is how he explains advanced stuff without making it confusing—he teaches it in a way anyone can understand. Whether you’re really competitive or you just play for fun, this book doesn’t just talk about improving your game. It actually shows you how to get better and gives you things you can use right away.
I ordered this book on a Friday and it was shipped the next day. I have had it for about one month and have read it cover to cover at least three times, and gone back to certain chapters often. This book is a must have for anyone serious about improving their game, and I have since signed up for Mr. Beeler's online course, which I highly recommend as well.
I took the 1 year course from Anthony and it was excellent. I sent him videos of me doing the lessons and he replied promptly with great feedback. It really improved my knowledge of the game and playing ability.
Anthony is a truly world class teacher of the game. He knows about everything that you could ever think of. His new book goes with the 3 day course at his location, which is awesome, I can go home and work on exactly what we worked on in the class, the class brings the book to life. I wish I had worked with him many years ago tbh but better late than never. I will defiantly be back to see him again. His love of the game shows in his very thorough teaching. Plus he’s got videos galore , props etc. I’m very excited to have found him.
Anthony Beeler’s new book, Do You Want to Play Like a Pro?, is a breakthrough in modern billiards instruction. Packed with crystal-clear visuals, professional-level systems, and step-by-step explanations, it takes players from basic fundamentals to advanced mastery with ease. Beeler’s BAM Aiming Method, cue-ball control strategies, and pattern-play insights are presented in a way that makes the entire game more predictable and understandable. This is the most complete, visually stunning, and effective pool book available today—an absolute must-read for any player serious about improving.
I have known Anthony for years and he is the real deal folks and after reading his book I only became more impressed and not only that but I had the opportunity to play the game him and he is humble teacher …this would be worth the read for anyone who loves the game of billiards
Anthony’s way of coaching and Training are one of a kind. About 11 years ago I met him online Facebook and my journey with pool/ billiards have been an unbelievable journey. Thank you Anthony for all that you do and the friendship we have developed over the years…
My Mom was a school teacher and always reminded us that it is always good to empty our. pockets in education. I was fascinated with the game - Billiards and like any other sports event, is a skill game. It is very important to know the basics before one develops bad habits of the game. I enrolled in Beeler’s Billiards Academy because Anthony Beeler was highly recommended. I would say that Anthony Beeler is THE GOAT when Billiards Instructions is the topic. Everyone can shoot pool but NOT everyone can TEACH! Sir Anthony is BOTH! He is THE PIA - Person In Authority when it comes to this Sports Event. He corrected my stance and shared every knowledge he had so i can do better. I improved my skills and still need to practice and develop the skills he imparted to me. I am recommending Sir Anthony to you because you will definitely improve your game! You can take online or one on one sessions- you can never go wrong with Sir Anthony! Call him and don’t wait any longer! I can say that I am Happy, i made the decision to enroll in Beeler’s Billiard Academy! i am very blessed and grateful for Sir Anthony!
Beeler’s Virtual Billiard Academy catapulted my game to the next level. What I appreciated most about going to “pool school” was the individual attention & precise instruction dedicated strictly towards MY game. Anthony does a spectacular job of evaluating your technique & game, then dialing in instruction in the specific needs that made me a more advanced player. I love his teaching style with visual aids, table workouts, and drills that are “must haves” for any player to advance no matter what your level! My time & money was well spent at Beeler’s Virtual Billiard Academy. I give it the highest rating!
I took the 3 day pool school almost 2 years ago. Anthony’s teachings have helped me build a straight stroke through solid fundamentals. If I start to have issues, I go back to the fundamentals and gain confidence again. The in person training is structured to ensure you build a good foundation, yet personalized to give you honest feedback in real time. I highly recommend anyone wanting to improve their overall pool game to take the 3 day in person training.
Anthony is a great teacher. He has a proven curriculum and tailors his lessons to the skill level of the student. Highly recommend.
Anthony is a great billiards instuctor. He knows what to do and explains it very well. Very timely, professional and effective. I saw and continue to see real results.
I completed a three-day, in-person training session with Anthony Beeler, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. I entered the program as a low-average player, but with Anthony’s guidance, I quickly elevated my game to a solid intermediate level. Anthony helped me identify and correct several key fundamentals that were holding me back. His instruction covered every major aspect of the game—from stroke mechanics and alignment to banking systems, pattern play, and overall table strategy. Every lesson was clear, structured, and easy to apply. What sets Anthony apart is not just his knowledge, but his ability to teach. He provided books, detailed resources, and step-by-step demonstrations for every drill, making it easy to continue practicing long after the session ended. I highly recommend Anthony Beeler’s Virtual Billiards Academy to anyone wanting to improve, whether you’re a newer player looking to develop a foundation or an experienced shooter wanting to sharpen specific skills. I plan to return for additional training and refresher courses as I work toward advancing to higher levels of play. Anthony’s instruction is the real deal—an investment in your game that pays off immediately and continues to build long-term.
The 3 days of lessons I received with Anthony was amazing. He would work with me over and over until I got a specific part of the training down. The BAM aiming system is by far better than any other I have worked with. I really enjoyed listening to his stories of Nick Varner and many of the local greats that he was able to play along with back in the day. I also really enjoyed the environment for the training, as I was able to meet his two son's and the family dog. So it made it feel like I was right at home as well. Over all it was just a great experience.
Anthony is a master billiard instructor, I went to him to improve my game and it has. It is now to me to put what I learned to use. Very easy to understand what he teaches, down to earth type of guy and makes it simple. At the start he let me get warmed up hitting balls around and as I was he was watching and done had me figured out what was wrong with my alignment and stroke and also my grip. As the old saying goes you can teach an old dog new tricks. We went over a lot of things in the 3 days from the simple things that we forget to some of the finer aspects of the game. I have tried other aiming systems that was alright but the bam system that Anthony teaches is far superior to the others. People ask me if I would take the lesson again if I had to and as I told them I would it’s that good. And I would definitely recommend his new book, sometimes we forget things we learned and struggle a bit and this book is so easy to understand I go back and reread it again to get me back on track, thanks again Anthony.
I spent 3 days with Anthony. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a world champion he can help improve your game. He is the real deal. Be sure to take notes so you don't forget the information he gives you. Retaining all the information my memory would be almost impossible. He gives you a ton of information. Take notes, you won't be disappointed.
I attended Anthony’s Billiard Academy for an in-person experience. Anthony has many years of experience as both a teacher and pool instructor. This expereince shows when you attend his academy. He has a beautiful new Diamond 9-foot table with excellent Simonis felt. He has a dedicated space that is very comfortable, which is important as I spent 5-hours a day for consecutive 3-days with Anthony. I truly did not know what to expect due both to not having taken a private lesson from a pool professional and also knowing nothing about that area of Kentucky, a true leap of faith. So happy I did. What I learned was shocking, I learned I truly knew very little about the correct way to stroke the ball and how to play shape. I learned a ton and when I returned to APA I had a pretty good run. It is a lot of information during his instruction, so come prepared to learn and work hard to leverage the in-depth knowledge that Anthony is willing share and help you to absorb. I would highly recommend the Beeler’s Virtual Academy to anyone who is truly open to learning and improving. Anthony is a truly nice person and he has your best interest at heart.
