I love the easy to use platform on mobile. I can create cards for bills or for online ordering. I like the convenience of switching the funding sources, limits, pausing and the one time use features & card locking features. The best part is that it is free for personal use! I have been using it for layered security between with my funding accounts and spending for a few years now and absolutely love it! I can't wait for the updates as they come out! Good job Privacy.com!
Easy to use and masks my personal information from merchant.
I’ve been using Privacy.com regularly, and it has become one of the most dependable tools in my cards and tracks spending. Creating virtual cards takes seconds, and it gives me complete control over where and how my money is used. The security features are outstanding single‑use cards, spending limits, and the ability to pause or close a card instantly have saved me more than once. The user experience is clean, intuitive, and consistent. Everything works the way it should, every time.Privacy is doing an excellent job building a service that’s both powerful and simple. Highly recommended for anyone who values security and control especially for recurring charges and online spending.
I make online purchases from foreign websites and older websites with poorer security semi-regularly. Privacy.com has allowed me to be secure in my purchases because I can create new cards and set spend limits.
Great service the virtual cards with tap to pay to keep my privacy and spending limits
Fantastic service. An absolute must to keep my business expenses under control and safe.
It's so easy creating new cards, seeing receipts, managing payments. When there's a problem, the support is very prompt about getting back to me. They have different types of cards which suit my needs well. All-in-all, it's an easy service to use and it does virtual cards well!
I've read the comments NOT to this many horror stories. If anyone wishes to do transactions just like this wouldn't it be better to just buy digital cards from Target, Walmart etc. You get the safety without giving up your own bank account. Just saying 😉
Privacy.com gives me control and security over my finances. In today's high-risk cybersecurity environment, I feel more in control of how vendors access my money.
Stay away! This company proclaims to be about protecting your privacy, but the third party ID verification partner "Persona" is anything but. Your ID and your Facial scan will get leaked. What's worse is there is no way I am aware of creating an account without this step. Support agents refuse to respond to support tickets. Whats worse if you go though all the verification steps of creating your account and linking your back and giving all your personal Identifiable info before they force this down your throat to activate the account. Then they share all the info you gave them with persona. Now Persona has everything about you in their database. All to "Verify Identity". I am currently perusing legal remedies.
Super easy to use I have never once had a problem. The service is fantastic. It is simple and intuitive. I have it connected to my bank and I can cancel or pause any of the cards as needed which is a quick fix for stopping the growing amount of subscriptions we seem to be pushed towards.
I am very thankful that you offer this service. I have had 4 or 5 instances when my debit card was compromised. I don’t fear that again which is why I use Privacy.
Does exactly what it says. Setup is a breeze and extremely fast. 10/10 recommended.
There's a sense of security knowing that a card is only available for one-time use if you choose. Also, it's great to lock a card to a vendor. So, if that card is attempted to be used, you can immediately assume that vendor has been hacked or has unscrupulous employees. With the Firefox add-on, it's really easy to create a new card when needed or use a card easily.
Solid option for secure and private purchases. Used many times for small purchases and online trials. Even when I was overcharged by an online service they helped out with a chargeback when I had the right evidence. Support was relatively quick, but of course the process took awhile. The online process to report and submit proof was rather seamless on the browser, not so much on the app. Recommended for small purchases.
Privacy has been very helpful for me in a few ways. I enjoy that I can put a monthly cap on how much it pays each vendor, so I get an alert if any of my usual monthly payments increase without my knowledge. I also love being able to use one-time Privacy payments at smaller restaurants or vendors that may not be as secure -- this ensures that my card information can't be reused if it falls into the wrong hands or a data breach. Overall, Privacy gives me much more control and confidence in my financial security and data privacy when I'm making online payments.
I love using Privacy.com. Even the free version has tremendous utility. I have even had the unfortunate experience of needing to perform a chargeback and their customer service team made the experience simple and easy. I can't recommend them enough.
So far the experience has been pretty good. One thing that takes getting used to is that the transactions are not well labeled so when they show up in quicken or on your banking app you don't know what they are for. You have to keep notes or else look it up. You mostly getting appreciations instead of names. But otherwise things work really well.
