I had a scheduled appointment for a FREE Personal Trading Lesson on Monday, January January 22. 2024, but the Prosper salesperson could not find someone at Prosper to get on the call. We rescheduled for Wednesday, January 24. 2024 for the same time. I was very ready and rescheduled another appointment to make sure I was available. I waited and waited. Gave up. Someone called about 27 minutes later, but I was out. Someone called again about an hour later, but I hung up. I am always respectful of others, but twice burnt is enough.

I have been trading stock and stock option suggestions from Prosper Trading Academy since the last week of December 2023. My trades are approximately 70% winners.
Had a great phone call on January 19 2024 with Mike Philpot (Managing Senior Account Executive). Answered numerous questions i had. Did not pressure me to buy additional services, but did suggest a service that fits with the questions i had. Mike told me to call back in a few months if i want to be involved with more sophisticated services they offer.

This review is for Moosa, my sales rep. YEA, a sales rep. He's great because he worked with me, rather than being the pushy "sales guy". My moneys been tight and I let him know what I wanted and what my goals were. The problem is that what I wanted and what I could afford weren't possible. He didn't go for the quick sale and get me to buy just anything small and move onto the next sale. Our conversation wasn't just one phone call either. It was multiple calls and texts to the point where I was waiting for him to give up on me. He did not.
Your first experience with any purchase doesn't come after you've purchased it. It occurs at first contact, you know, that "dreaded sales guy". If you have a bad experience in the purchasing process, it taints whatever you have purchased. Luckily it was Moosa on the other end of the phone and he worked with me the whole way through. Contacting me afterwards as well.
My first purchase was about 18 months ago and my most recent was, recently. :)

been a member since 2019 if you are new to trading or have been trading for your whole life, you will become a better trader using this site. all the people are very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Charlie moon happens to be my favorite, but every person is terrific. their customer support is excellent also. Sam Makri spent a bit of time helping me navigate their site easier. put me down as very satisfied.
Doug Brown is your BEST front porch. He has given me outstanding service. As I now have two services for life. Scott and Mike. I was a Depression baby growing up on a dry land farm in west Texas before WWII. I know value and already recognize the value of those lessons after studying over the first week end.

Maybe I should have picked an easier challenge than options trading, like solving world hunger. The mechanics alone are quite daunting and I’m sorry to say reading ebooks, watching YouTube videos and brokerage training was not getting me closer to active profitable live trading. I screwed up my fair share of simulated trades with Prosper’s live curated option signals and asked alot of “dumb” questions, as well. Scott Bauer is big on challenging his traders with alot of his own questions and modeling an option trader’s mindset. His team members have provided salient education, timely coaching and support. After 4 months, I just received approval to trade options and have earned the confidence to enter Prosper curated trades to my live account.
Over All everything is great! from the Coaches, Sales Staff, Reps,& Customer Service! I spoken with Barbie a couple times & let me tell you she was very helpful and super patient! 10 stars for Prosper Trading!

I purchased the Prosper Trading Academy "Masterclass" which promised to teach Mike Shorr's "1 Hour Trading Day Plan" but it was nothing more than a VSL for his main program and live trading room.
The "masterclass" VERY briefly touched on two trading patterns he uses (it was about 8 minutes of the entire 40 minute VSL), but nothing near enough to actually learn and implement these strategies. It was just a VSL for their main trading platform/program.
So basically I paid this company to promote their main program to me. Instead of this company paying for advertising and being honest and getting customers the legit way, they pulled a bait and switch (which is illegal in the states), tricked me into thinking that I was getting a "Masterclass" and then only provided a VSL for an upsell to their main program.
This left a bad taste in my mouth so I will not be moving forward with them. I will also be reporting the illegal bait and switch to the FTC.

This company offered short term options $2497 / Yr MIKE SHOOR - guarantee 40% profit or money back. I tried did trades, lost 7000, got below the 25,000 needed for short term trades. Asked for refund BUT they said I needed to do ALL trades (7 hours a day EVERY DAY - and do EVERY trade he recommended) to qualify for the refund, not just the ones I did) - THIS IS FRAUD and totally BAD, BAD, BAD
I did send Prosperous Trading my subscription information showing I paid $2497 they just said Mike made profits so the trades I made were not the determinating factor.

Prosper Trading Academy is everything and more than I expected. With the guidance of highly educated and experienced individuals, one is getting a valuable education besides just trading ideas, .
The whole team is respectful, available and caring to make sure one is successful.
The tools available to learn from and the ability to understand the thought process of each recommendation is beyond what I expected. I have two graduate degrees and feel I am getting a third one from them.
The best part is, they are totally available to explain and help on all recommended positions, as well as with feedback on your own ideas. This has been an incredible experience in both receiving trading opportunities, but also expanding my own knowledge as I learn from the pros.
The most important lesson that they emphasize with every trade is to manage your risk within a range, based on what you are overall using to invest.
I was very skeptical as an experienced trader and investor before signing on. (Now a believer) Besides the course I currently signed up with, I know when I am ready, there are other avenues that they offer to expand to and succeed at investing.
Be careful with this company. The salespeople are very dishonest. I was considering joining, but I was told that I would get a soft pull for a loan check, but it was a hard pull. After I confronted the guy, he became extremely disrespectful and downplayed the whole thing. It was a joke to him. If you understand the credit game, you know how serious a hard inquiry could be.
UPDATE: It's possible that I may have spoken with an attorney from Prosper Trading. It's really hard to say, since the guy clearly didn't know the facts of the case. I believe the whole purpose of the call was to threaten me to removing the truth from the website. It ultimately became an education session.
It's possible that I would have joined, but I don't do hard pulls unless I'm at least 90% sure that I want to buy a service. I'm certain that I was speaking with Prosper Trading. The guy was a salesman trying to get me to buy the service and did a hard pull against my wishes.

Christopher, please refrain from making inaccurate and baseless claims. Our upper management spoke to you today and told you we are investigating the matter, check your email. You reached out to us requesting information on trading the markets, you inquired about financing the cost of the program, and agreed to fill out the application through a CONSUMER facing process. We were nothing but beyond respectful to you the entire process. You must have forgotten that you inquired about financing the trading course. In order to provide you with the best possible service, you were sent a form asking if you wanted financing. You checked a box on the form that agreed to apply for credit. In response the finance company sent you a credit application. That is why the request for information was made. Your application has been removed and we have contacted the finance company to request the removal of the hard inquiry.
Recently I spoke with Doug Brown and he was very helpful, supportive, and patient while explaining to me the programs and the advantages of having access to the experts' live rooms. His kindness was remarkable which gave me the confidence to ask as many questions as needed about the programs. i am very satisfied with all the information received.
i had troubles with the downloading and saving of Mike Shorts Layout and VZO i sent a email to support and 10 minutes later i got a respond and guidances to resolve my problem however i tried it but some how could not do it so the support member ask for my number to call me and he did his name is Patrick Hammond very profesional and knowlegble of this business i am very satified with his help and support i am new and my wife too but we feel very confidence that we are going to learn how to trade Options very soon because of the dedication of the Support team and member like Patrick who is willing to help. thank you very much Prosper Trading for the oportunity.

I have been with Prosper during the…well over a year
I have been with Prosper during the Bear Market for well over a year. I bought life in all the rooms. Unfortunately, long term and crypto have been closed down partly due to regulations but the firm stepped up and offered me mentoring and other choices to make up for paying for life in those rooms. Charlie runs the Momentum stock trades and pennies, he is a great trader and teacher who cares deeply about his students. I am doing weekend mentoring with both Charlie and Mike where more in depth analysis and teaching happens. Mike runs the Short Term Options room where we hold a trade maybe a few minutes to 10 minutes. I would say during these market conditions he is probably the best high frequency options mentor/coach you can find. I have been with many educational firms in the past, and what puts Prosper way above the rest is the signal rooms that you are able to trade live with all the coaches. Scott Bauer is a great complex options teacher which, I personally need to spend more time with but he explains and puts out option spreads signals with less risk. As said before, I have been with many firms in the past including prop trading firms but the hands on help, in depth live trading/teaching where they give prices to get in stops, managing your trade live, taking profits with them is second to none. The fact that the coaches have been Institutional traders for Goldman and other firms speaks volumes for their experience and expertise especially in tough tough market conditions that we have been experiencing. Hope this helps some of you.
It seems more often than not, I'll make 10%, even 20% on a signal and while that sounds great, throw in the middle of those a signal that loses 100%, so basically need 5 to 10 gains to make up for the 100% loss. There was a spreadsheet that kept track of the loses that I haven't looked up in a long time, when I did look it up though it was WAY behind, which I feel is on purpose to hide the failure maybe? I have no doubt that they are trying, the content is good and they know what they are talking about, but it just hasn't translated into profits for me.

How can my response be "innaccurate claims" when the fact is i have lost more money than I've made. Those aren't claims they are facts. I've asked for the updated spreadsheet showing all trades and their results, I've yet to receive it. I should be able to choose ONE room if I want, and it make money in the long run for me, hasn't happened.
Also, I don't need to talk to you on the phone to get "corrected" if you are saying the "tracker" is finally updated I will go check it out. Last time I looked it was way behind.
Could my experience be based on timing, and you guys ran through my capital before I had a chance to make it back? I don't deny thats possible, but to say my claims and are inaccurate and lacking facts, the history of my account provides the facts.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on our program although based on your review it's clear that you're basing your experience on only one of the several products you have access to and making some inaccurate claims.
You see Scott's program is designed and suggests to follow with a specific allocation amount or percentage of the capital you're trading with, and NOT to buy 1 arbitrary contract at a time on positions since risk will differ trade to trade resulting in mixed results. Scott also calls out his signals int he room and provides a tracker which you have access to for transparency. Additionally, are you aware that you can day trade options out of a cash account with as little as a few thousand dollars and completely avoid PDT? It seems there are many issues we can easily resolve over the phone but you declined to have a conversation.
We're deeply sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations; however I would ask you to base your review on accuracy and facts. Our goal is to provide a program that is as valuable as it is comprehensive, and we regret that we fell short in your case. i did not buy a Subscription yet, but PTA. as leat with my salesman, Mike P., was not even close to high pressure. Access to your training platform was a totally new trading experience for me.
I’ve been trading derivatives for over 15 years now and in reality, this is the first time I’ve truly live traded the Short Term Options strategies presented via your Web-site.
Definitely an eye opener.
Your respecitve site seems to be all inclusive. There are many strategies where a new student desires can be filled.
Mine, the Short Term Options were my choice so I might concentrate on something new that I’ve not in the past traded.
The site seems to have most, if no every trading reference available to the new student, down to exact references of the trading platform I use daily, which include entry and exit triggers needed to open and close respective trades.
My particular leader lead instructor was Mike Shorr.
Students will be connected live to his trading screens to follow the motavation for the entry trigger as well as the exit trigger to take a profit or exit an order to prevent any massive losses on any one trade.
Mike, I believe is “X” floor trader or market maker. His knowledge is vast as he reflects on what instruments he is looking at real time, in order to set up for an entry trigger.
This is the first time I’ve been exposed to instructions like Prosper offers, nothing but quality and ease of use dependent on what tool of choice the student selects.

There is no you must do this by this time or else they will coach you guide you and answer any questions you have at any time. Yes it is a little expensive to get in but the profits you will gain from being a member will pay for itself in a very short time.
