SCAM ALERTY: Costs $95.80 for ONE resume! Total bait-and-switch. Bought a $2.95 resume download for my elderly sister, and they stealth-enrolled my card into a $23.95/month recurring charge. By the time I noticed, they had drained $95.80 from my account. They lure you in by hiding standard PDF/Word formats behind a paywall, leaving you with just a text file unless you pay. We'll see how long the cancelation takes thru system. Deceptive practices due to out of country location, no phone number (even on AMEX). Stay far away!

On the 24th of June I paid for a pdf download at R50 and a few days later 1 July 2026 they deducted R514 and another R514 within seconds of each transaction.one Thousand rand gone - I claimed a refund as I didn’t sign up for any subscription and never gave them consent to deduct money from my account. They have refused to refund me claiming that I signed up for a subscription which I never seen on their website. The option clearly stated to download the pdf I have to pay R50+The last Money I’m supposed to use for food they have taken and I’m left stranded. Because they have my card details they felt the need to setup a subscription and have defrauded me of my money. Heartless evil people I have reported them to the global fraud divisions and their financial flow will be frozen and website will be shut down taking advantage of people who don’t even have the money to eat. False claims that I signed up for a subscription two days later they have deducted from my account again after confirming he csncrlled any subscriptions I had. I paid via PayPal lastly no the transaction doesn’t even show on PayPal which is scary

This company just steal your money without even sending a note. My credit card was charged without my approval. I asked a refund. They didn't reply or pay back. Total scam.

In my opinion the subscription model is not transparent: I was charged on a recurring basis without receiving any on-going monthly billing emails or notifications, so the charges were easy to miss. Billing receipts and subscription details are not clearly visible from your profile. Check Reddit for similar experiences (you will find stronger worded ones). I can't recommend this service at all.

I liked the autopopulate as you enter information. However, the price, although affordable was a jumpscare and unexpected. left me feeling disappointed and like i just wasted a bunch of time and effort for something i was under the impression was free

Resume.io is the absolute worst. Even after unsubscribing from their shitty service and deleting my account with them, they have tried to take £34.95 about 4 times now from my account since 21st of June.
