Dear Florian, Thank you for your comments and we fully understand your concerns. You are absolutely correct; this kind of experience is below what you can expect from our company. We apologise it has been taking a few days to get back to, but we needed a report from the operators to give an explanation. Especially the safety issues you mentioned is not acceptable. To keep the prices low (Around USD 25 per person) for this long transfer and not running too many half empty vans there are 3 operators who are working together and are consolidating their capacity. That’s the reason that you on the way will have to make a couple of stops to change vans. The normal duration of the stops is around 30 min. But, like in your case, sometimes for various reasons (traffic etc.) if vans are not on time, it will delay the schedule. On top of that, you had many other bad experiences during the transfers, which is not acceptable. At the moment the only alternative to this shared transfer service is a private transfer which cost around USD 300. There cannot be 2 opinions on the boat and road safety. Again, I like to apologise. The owner of the company providing the van driver is informed about his driving and will take appropriate action. In normal cases, life jackets should be distributed before the boat is leaving the jetty. This is a requirement from the port authorities. There is no excuse not to do this. Please do not take above as we are running away from our responsibility. We are the ones responsible for the services we provide. It's just a short explanation.
