Fraudulent renewal
I received yet another email from this company informing me my domain name had expired and I needed to pay them to renew it immediately, or risk lose it forever. The actual truth is that my domain does not expire until DECEMBER 2026 and likely this is a ruse to entice people to pay them for bogus and totally-unnecessary renewal services. Obviously, I have moved my domain name to a reputable well-known provider ro prevent any such repeat performance from this clown outfit. Beware!

Hello Gary, After reviewing our records, we were unable to find an account under Seekahost.com, but we did locate an account registered on Seekahost.app & you are with us since 2021. Our system shows that the domain was not renewed in December 2024 and was later renewed in March 2025 during the domain grace/redemption period by creating a new annual subscription. Since the subscription started in March 2025, the payment system automatically generated the next renewal notification in March 2026, which explains the email you received. No additional or unexpected charges were made and the invoices issued earlier remained unpaid because of delayed subscription, which is why the system continued sending renewal reminders. We also noticed that the domain was transferred to another registrar without contacting our support team to clarify the notification. As the domain is no longer under our management, we are unfortunately unable to investigate or make further changes related to it at this time. We always encourage customers to reach out to us if something appears unclear. Our live chat and ticket support teams are available to quickly review notifications, billing questions, or domain renewals, and we are always happy to help resolve any concerns before decisions such as transfers are made. As you've been a client with us since 2021, we would appreciate if you reply to our communication via ticket or by calling us to help you rectify any misunderstanding.
