It's been many months since my last review because I really wanted to play this out to see if Jon and Melissa's "tr3ndy" board -- its charts, tutoring, and guidance, have continued to work over the long term. Obviously "to work" is being defined here as making me money; but also it's important to me to be among constructive, fun, cool "hangout" folks who also get things done, since I spend so much time defaulting back to the board throughout the trading day. Here's my bottom line take: it's still an amazing place. I am still making money (more yesterday than any single day so far, on a Melissa trade idea) on a vastly more regular basis than any other service I've used over the past 25 years, I still feel totally welcomed and "heard" on the thread, I get all my questions answered (usually warmly, sometimes with humor, always with 'welcome') that I almost can't believe it. So what can I say? If you're a trader in need of a system, and a fun place to ply it, with lots of profit opportunity literally every morning of the week? Join Simpler/Tr3ndy with Jon and Mel. Come over. Say hello to the rest of us. It's the best hang, honestly. And no one asked me to say this. Melissa: Great teacher. She'll talk for hours — just not when she enters a trade.
Two rooms, two instructors I genuinely respect — and one thing that would make both significantly better for beginners.
Jon is the real deal. He's always looking to improve — his teaching, his room, how he operates. That mindset shows. His read of the market is clear, his intentions make sense when he explains them. The one gap: he doesn't always share his chart after entering a position, which makes it hard to follow along in real time. You can ask questions, but with so many people in the room, many go unanswered.
Melissa is a dedicated teacher — she's always explaining, always breaking things down. But she rarely takes SPX or XSP live on the mic. When she does, she tends to execute quietly, posting entries and exits on the chart after the fact. I don't think she's hiding anything — it just comes across that way to someone trying to follow along.
I get that API alerts for SPX trades make no sense since it moves too fast.. But a quick callout on the mic right before pulling the trigger would be a different story. Not after, not on the chart after the fact — right before. That one change alone would give newer traders a fighting chance at following the trade in real time.
I would love to have real live trading guidance — not just a chart recap of all the winning entries after the session is over. Watching someone actually pull the trigger, in the moment, with the uncertainty and the pressure — that's the lesson. That's what sticks.
Don't get me wrong — Melissa puts in the work. Zones, charts, PDFs, teaching material. She comes prepared. It's just that when the pressure is actually on, when you're staring at the screen not sure if your three-step confirmation is there or not, that's exactly when she goes quiet. That's the moment beginners need the most help, and it's the one moment she doesn't cover live.
The SPX room is focused and well-structured — SPX only, clear purpose. But it's mostly a teaching room. The Trendy Room is a different animal: great for swing trades and Jon's futures calls, but all over the place for a beginner trying to find their footing. I wish Jon would take SPX live there too — I get why that probably won't happen, but a guy can wish.
Some YouTubers spend a good 2 hour market window just trading live — they don't have anywhere near the levels that Jon and Melissa have, but they're in the market taking trades with you and that's what pulls people in.
One idea for Jon: he already posts his market analysis on Sundays on YouTube. If he moved that to a Monday Youtube live session, no need to cover the same ground twice. It also pulls his Trendy room audience directly into his Youtube channel and grab traders looking for information on Youtube at the same time. He'd be growing both at the same time without adding much work. And Jon — genuinely, thanks for everything you put into this. I'm still in the room and not going anywhere. That's because I've seen how you operate — you're always looking to improve, and that's exactly the kind of person worth betting on.

Nothing but EXCELLENCE for KNOWLEDGE JUNKIES. Ive been in this room for about a year, and it has changed my life and of course my trading. I actually think of it as a career now. I never thought I would be this close to actually making a living off trading until I joined Simpler Trading and especially the Trendy Trading Room. Jon and Mellisa have guided me and all the students thru complex understandings of the market. Truthfully, we make it more complicated then it really is. It’s amazing how they are able to identify potential entries, profit targets, & stop loss levels. What is really crazy is they are able to identify these levels on a daily basis before the regular trading hours open. Melissa provides live training on how she identifies these levels in the premarket and provides a summary slide that summarizes entries and exits. Tr3ndyJon system teaches us where institutions are buying and selling and how we can use these footprint levels as support & resistance levels, not just for intraday trading, but also for weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly. Yes, a yearly levels too. (But I know I am not that patient.) They don’t just focus on SPX, but that’s just what I like to trade. If you just want to get your feet wet, they also teach you to trade XSP. They go the extra mile and answer you questions. If you are lucky, watch for their special offers.

Bought the small lot room. Very bad experience. Very few trades ,not what was promised.Most trades lost!! Allison and heather were still happy in the chat room guessing they knew they got the members cash. Would not recommend!!!

The Small Lot Room is built around fewer, higher-quality setups, not constant trade volume. Like any trading approach, not every trade will be a winner; the focus is on consistency over time.

Guys, do not be fooled. The scanner they offer is not user friendly at all and it is very limited in scope. Outside of the things they pre-program, it is virtually impossible to program it to scan for your own preferences.
Additionally, do not pay for the Squeeze indicator. The indicator is behind the curve on everything. It is the most lagging indicator available for use. Complete waste of money.

We did attempt to locate your account in our system but were unfortunately unable to find a matching account based on the information available. Because of that, we are not entirely certain which product you are referring to.
We currently offer two different new scanning-related products. One is the Radar Screen, which was intentionally designed with a more limited scope and focused functionality based on its intended use case. The other is the Simpler Trading Scanner, which is capable of running thousands of different scan combinations and offers significantly broader customization.
It’s possible there may have been some confusion between these two products. If you are currently using the Radar Screen and would prefer access to the full Scanner instead, we would absolutely be happy to help discuss available options with you.
Additionally, the Squeeze indicator itself is a free indicator and is not a paid standalone product through us, so we would appreciate the opportunity to better understand what purchase you may be referring to.

Trendy SPX room on simpler is the best room to understand the demand and supply zone for the SPX. Understanding the SPX gives market direction for long-term investments, and this room also has a great process for trading 0 DTE. Tr3ndy Supply and Demand will change your trading!
Simpler Trading has many rooms that cater to different trading vehicles and trading styles, but hands down Tr3ndy Trading and Tr3ndy SPX rooms are amazing!
Don't hesitate to join the Tr3ndy Trading room and the Tr3ndy SPX room - Jon and Melissa's teaching and knowledge shared in these rooms is fantastic. I have been in a couple of rooms at Simpler Trading, but by and large my trading has vastly improved after joining Tr3ndy.
A few, of many reasons, the Tr3ndy Trading and Tr3ndy SPX room have value:
First, learning about Supply and Demand trading flipped the script for me, it's following the big money. I used to buy at the highs and sell at the lows...not anymore. I cannot overstate how learning supply and demand has changed my trading for the better. If you skip the rest of my review, this is the one takeaway that will change your trading forever.
Second, the amount of time and energy Jon and Melissa spend on the mic every trading day is unmatched, in my opinion. Several times per week we plan our day 90 minutes before the market opens, then on the mic during the trading day for several hours fielding questions and trading together. That's not counting the time they spend contributing on social media with market analysis, overcoming mental hurdles, forecasting, etc. Jon and Melissa's passion for teaching and education is apparent in everything they do - not a day goes by that I don't learn something new in the room.
Third, they truly care about the growth of everyone in the Tr3ndy community. How many trading professionals will give you their email address, and respond personally to your email? I don't know, but I'm convinced it's a small number your could count on one hand.
Fourth, you are taught to fish. Yes, maybe an overused cliche, but true nonetheless. The learning component, the education, the teaching is all brought together every day so that I may execute trades on my own. Of course, there are alerts and recommended trades, but when it is all said and done I'm taking trades on my own.
Lastly, my trading has gone from an emotional rollercoaster to...Zen. I'm still working on my mental hurdles to trading - the fear, the doubt, loss aversion bias - but, overall my trading is becoming more disciplined, and more importantly, consistent.
Don't hesitate, join the rooms (I recommend both) and change your trading for the better!

I’m genuinely impressed with the 'Trendy Room' at 'Simpler Trading'. Jon’s dip buying system is remarkable, clear, structured, and highly effective. Mel complements it perfectly with a level of discipline and risk awareness that is equally impressive.

Expensive and not customer friendly for new customers
I had taken a 1 month trial but it got renewed after 28 days. I requested the customer service to prorate the 2 days and cancel my susbscription. They said that is not an option and no alternatives. For beginner traders they should provide these basic services like other subscription models. Similar to feedback provided by others they are expensive and not customer friendly. Take you business elsewhere and dont sign up for 1 year models.
They have to rename themselves to "complicated trader" non stop talking sucking the oxygen out of a room, i think the speaker was Danielle Shay. Non stop showing some charts, with a squeeze concept. its a bunch of nonsense, there just another company wanting subscriptions. There is nothing simple about this group. I went to a presentation it was longwinded and exhausting... Skip this company. Rename yourselves.

Just completed Melissa Beegle's SPX 500/Day class (the class and 4 days of live trading). I've taken many classes at Simpler Trading and this is one of the very best. Apart from the technical aspects it taught discipline in trading - probably more important than most things. The class is based on 'Trendy Jon's' Supply and Demand methodology, and Trendy levels are just amazing. What truly stood out with Melissa's class is her commitment to answering each and every question asked - which meant going over ideas repeatedly - which amounted to hours of hours of answers.
