Valuable, versatile dance training videos
Their on-demand platform is an incredible resource for young dancers looking to supplement their training with at-home instruction. My 11-year-old daughter enjoys choosing videos and creating playlists that target different skills she wants to work on. Everything is broken down by skill or focus area, with both short and long lessons, so it really fits many different needs. While they have plenty of challenging and advanced lessons, it’s particularly useful for younger dancers who need that step-by-step direction from an instructor to stay motivated (versus a written list of exercises to do, for example). Videos are done with an instructor who teaches and directs the exercises and lessons verbally (and with a student demonstrating live), and who clearly have a lot of experience teaching and communicating with youth dancers. We’ve briefly tried a few other video or online dance education resources over the years and haven’t found anything else as useful and intentional as Godfrey. I’ve also interacted a few times with them on the customer service front and found them to be kind and communicative with very good customer service. Their holiday-themed bonus videos are a fun extra, again demonstrating they know how to motivate their youthful audience well!
Our students at Mossa Dance Academy love working with Jon and Chelsey of The Godfrey Method. In each class the students learn something new and are able to apply this in all of their technique classes at our studio. We love that all ages are welcome into their classes and they take their time on strengthening, challenging, and motivating each individual. We encourage our dancers to always take home the exercises they have learned and have noticed these specific dancers have improved tremendously. We always look forward to welcoming them back at our studio as it is a big highlight and the kids absolutely love it!

The Godfrey Method On Demand is the best app to grace the internet. As a dancer and dance educator I have found so many useful tips and tricks to improve my dancing and my teaching. Buyer beware
Ordered item and it was mailed with my address incomplete so was returned to sender. After having waited 10days I was refunded only the product cost less the shipping. My address was listed complete on the billing portion of order, I did not make a shipping label that was missing my street name it was created, put on the order and It was put into mail by someone in their company but that mistake cost me $7.37. Correspondence was short/rude and NOT customer friendly. When I was told I would only be refunded the product I replied immediately that I do not agree with that and that I want the products resent. They did not respond.
The company is so easy to work with.
This program has greatly impacted our strength and conditioning program. Our students are more engaged and have purchased their own red straps to practice at home

Godfrey on Demand Virtual Class
My daughter enjoys the live virtual classes offered with the Godfrey On Demand program. She enjoys the music that plays in the background as she does the exercises. As an observer I could see immediate results and believe it’s due to the progression of the class and science behind the placement of each exercise. I would have given the 4th star if participants were given individual feedback, even if was just a few. That would make the participant feel like someone is actually watching them. General comments however are given based on the observations of the teachers.
My daughter took the virtual flexibility class that was offered and she absolutely loved it! It was very interactive and really an amazing class! Highly recommend!

Amazing class
The thing that I really loved about the Gophery Method was that they used multiple choices for the people that were new to the exercises or the people that already know te exercise. I think I got many good things to help me with my turns. I hope I can take another class with you!

We have been using the method for a few months now and I could not recommend the programme more! The website is so easy to use and has an abundance of exercises for every element of dance that you could think of. I have seen the improvement in our dancers since implementing The Godfrey Method exercises into our classes and look to diving into more of them as the year progresses. I wish I had found this programme sooner!

Wonderful platform for dancers who would like to improve!
I cannot thank Jonathan & Chelsea enough for creating such a wonderful on-demand learning platform for dancers around the world. My daughter has improved leaps and bounds in her dance ever since using this months ago. If you’re looking to sharpen your technique, increase flexibility or strengthen weak muscles - look no further. The Godfrey Method is easy to use and follow - most exercises take only a few minutes each day - and if you commit to it you can see results very soon. My daughter (7) started taking the on demand classes a few weeks ago and she LOVES them. We love how detailed they are and how they break everything down before diving in to the workout. Makes it very easy for her to follow. It is the perfect addition to her daily routine and just what we were searching for!
I am a flexibility coach and I use this band daily with my students! This band is fantastic and I highly recommend. Here are some details on why I like this band: 1. Length - this band is extra long, which is great for tall students and those with less flexibility. 2. Elasticity - this band has the perfect amount of elasticity, not too firm and not too stretchy. 3. Width/thickness - the band has a premium feel to it and I like the thickness of the band because it keeps it from slipping. 4. Loopholes - the band has 13 loopholes, making it easy to find the center!
The Godfrey Method has helped my daughter’s dance technique. She struggled with bent knees for years and by training with the Godfrey Method, she can correctly straighten her knees without pain. So many areas of her technique improved including her feet and her ankle strength. It shows through in all of her dancing. I highly recommend the on demand program. The blocks and bands are also the best out there.
