The program has helped both my wife and I with the thing that has plagued our marriage. I've been able to open up as well as face the the underlying reasons and unmet needs behind my addiction and behaviors. I'm still working on the program and creating a sustainable plan.

We chose this program because my spouse needed flexibility in a treatment program…

We chose this program because my husband is a busy professional and could not check into a facility for months at a time. We chose it together based on ease of sessions and the spousal support program. Fees were $5000 per month which is costly for most. From the beginning Coach Craig encouraged keeping secrets and not disclosing things to me/wife/the abused. Everything was very secretive. My husband and i have been together for 15 years when i found out that our entire existence was built on lies, gaslighting manipulation, infidelity and sex addiction. To be fair, i was deeply upset. We argued, i went into severe depression, lost a massive amount of weight and struggled on a daily basis. Coach Craig- whom I’d never met other than a quick hello for 30 seconds during a zoom call- continually told my husband that he was the one in an abusive relationship with me and that he was being abused . Never mind the fact that Craig doesn’t hold a license to diagnose anyone, let alone someone he’s never talked to and didn’t know anything about me. Never mind i have no history of abuse, addictions, anger, failed relationships or gaslighting. To make matters worse, i repeatedly asked for the spousal support which Coach Craig DENIED me because of my “mental issues”. Instead he focused on stroking the ego of the guy paying the bill. The true abuser/liar/cheater. It took months after the sessions were over before my husband came clean with me about all of the lies and affairs, no thanks to Craig who constantly told him to not disclose anything. Wow. Wow. Wow.. Response: Although I appreciate Coach Craig and his wife reaching out thru this review, I have read the emails from Craig where he denied me access to the spousal support based on MY 'mental issues" and repeatedly told my husband that he was in an abusive relationship because I was angry about the 15 year mountain of lies. I suppose if I would have just layed on my back and shut up, I would have been given the support group access that we paid for.

Oh my goodness. This is heartbreaking to read. Michelle and I both wanted to respond personally and tell you how sorry we are that you are in so much pain and sorry that this is your experience with us. We deeply apologize for any actions of ours that caused pain. I would like to share an important point based only on the information that you provided in your thoughtful and heartfelt expression of pain. Because of confidentiality, we hope the explanation helps explain our policies and when coaching might not be a fit. For many reasons, we sometimes recommend someone work with a counselor or therapist before that person would be a fit for a coaching program. You wrote, “I went into a deep depression, lost a severe amount of weight, and struggled on a daily basis.” This is so heartbreaking and painful - and could be very serious. It's best when suffering from these and similar medical issues to work with a medical provider. This ensures everyone is getting the best care. We’ve evolved these policies over 10 years trying to ensure that we direct people to the right resources. There are also other times when it is in a person‘s best interest to get a licensed therapist who is not affiliated with our program. This is especially true when there are allegations of abuse for example, whether true or not. Sometimes there are legal issues that prevent us from working with both husband and wife. Our intention behind these policies is to make sure the person is getting the proper care. Our goal with every client is to empower them to proactively address the challenges in their lives. We do our best based upon the information that is provided. While I can’t speak to the specifics of this situation, we have a long public history of telling men that honesty is the best policy and disclosure is critical. This approach often helps them effectively rebuild trust and trust is the foundation of a great relationship. We are so sorry that this is your experience with us and we hope and will strive to do the best job we can going forward. We hope and pray you find your path to healing. Siincerely and Humbly Craig & Michelle Perra

The Mindful Habit is an amazing program that can foster changes in our thoughts, habits and overall well being.

The Mindful Habit is an amazing program that can be so helpful. There is nothing else like this program that is this comprehensive with the power to change lives. I absolutely love the Partner Empowerment Group program and am in my third month using the tools. Videos, worksheets, journals, Coaching calls all come together to create a cohesive vehicle for positive personal life changes. Taking the TIME to do the work conscientiously is critical to its effectiveness. The Partner Empowerment program monthly price however, makes the time needed to do the work quite costly. Perhaps a membership type fee schedule would help us stay in the program as long as it takes to see the miracles happen in our lives from more mindful habits and behaviors instead of having to leave the program for money reasons before the full benefits can be realized.

The experience for me has been eye opening in the fact I can understand through group settings that I’m not alone in my struggles. Craig has shown me that there are healthy ways to deal with my stress and anxiety and to use mindfulness training in place of acting out. The group setting has helped me understand my situation after listening to someone who’s going through the same situation. The positive encouragement has helped me deal with the shame and guilt that I’ve had to live with. Craig has help me see that I can rise above my situation and live my best life.

Opportunity

I have tried a few programs and counselors and this is the first one that I feel I share the same issues with the other members. My goal is to identify the "root issue of why" and I think with Craigs team I will. I look at this opportunity as effort in with be reward out.

Journey to a safer, healthier life with the Mindful Habit

I’ve just started my journey with Craig and the Mindful Habit. I could not be happier with the framework and coaching I have received. Craig is a clear communicator. He’s walked in my shoes. He’s a great listener and he runs at the pace you set. It doesn’t just stop with Craig. He augments with group sessions, outside reading, books. Craig will put you in position to take your life where you want it to be. He includes your spouse! And offers to help in their journey with tools and group help as well. If you are serious about building a better, safer you, look no place else. This program is amazing!!!

Review of The Mindful Habit Progran

I bought into the whole program about 3 months ago. It was that or be put away in some program in Wickenberg for 70K. Craig and this program has virtually saved my marriage. And in part this is because they allowed my wife to get involved, and progress cannot be made without her involvement. The additional reading supplements like The Atomic Habits, Altogether You, The Power of Vulnerability, and the Mindfulness meditations all added to a very positive experience for me. I realize that this is a program for life and there will be snapbacks, but I am on the right track, and I thank Craig and Michelle for that.

This program is working for me...

Craig, the facilitator/coach communicates a great spirit and passion for helping others address and overcome their addictions. He has and shares a wealth of experience touching these sexual addictions. He welcomes and affirms the experience and wisdom of those participating in the program. And the sharing of those participating adds to the support in one's recovery program.

I’m grateful to Craig and the mindful habit program for changing my life of sex addition and for bringing my wife closer to me in my long road of recovery. I’m a private guy and don’t like standard counseling, however I’m an open book with the brotherhood. Being able to listen to other people’s stories and ask questions about myself has been a lifesaver. Thank you Craig ….dave n

It is up to you

As far as a program, its just what I needed. I have struggled s lifetime with pornography addiction and sexual compulsion. I have been in and out of therapies (and relationships) and have never gotten much out of sessions. I felt as if I was just talking and never getting instruction, advice or tools. I also never felt as if I understood the “why” to my issue. With this program I feel I am getting all of that information. I am understanding me, why I am wired the way I am and the tools to make lasting change. Like anything thing else you only vet out of it what you put into it. You have to want freedom bad enough to work for it. Craig and his team do a great job coaching and motivating and offering a great positive environment. They are straight forward from the beginning that if you aren't ready to put in the effort or ready to change and grow that you should not sign up. It expensive and time consuming but worth it if you want experience real change.

I've had Jesus in my life

I've had Jesus in my life. He liberated me from the deathgrip drugs had on me. My wife and I both were living for drugs and it was a 24/7 lifestyle. Once Jesus came into our lives, we both changed. We dedicated our lives to Him. After a year, she crept back to the drug culture and I could not. The one thing different about her changing back to drugs was the sexual outlook of her attitude. I could write a book on what she was into, but all I could do was to try and forgive all, and wanted her to come back. I was totally in love with her and prayed for her to be protected, and return to Jesus. My porn started out of curiosity of what she was into because I couldn't understand what attracted her to it. After a few years and having much contact with her, porn became something more to me than curious. I finally asked her to let me go because 3 years of waiting had taken its toll on me. I wanted to be free of the hurt and pain that the waiting was burdening my soul with. She let me go and the burden was lighter but still existed somewhere deep inside. Porn stayed with me. I wanted to be free from it and asked Jesus to help. He took drugs away and I thought He would do the same with porn. 20 years later, I still wanted porn out of my life. The porn was damaging my present relationship and I couldn't end it. This is where a blessing was given to me in the form of The Mindful Habit. I watched this man on videos who was addicted to the same curse I was experiencing and all he was talking about was making sense. Thank you Craig and thank you Jesus for putting him in my path. Going through the book, working with the exercises, and applying these to my life really got things on the right track. Craig reminded me that I had to forgive. Showed me to OWN It, accept it, and how to redirect this behavior I didn't like into something I wanted to become. I finally learned to be truthful with my wife and it became a relief to be able to speak with her. It is hard to be honest when you think it would hurt someone or be embarrassing to admit, but be honest and own it! I have not looked at porn from Jan 17th until now. My desire is to make a better habit, remain honest with myself and my wife, and stick with what I learned from Craig and to cleave onto Jesus.

mindful habit prigram

The mindful habit program has been wonderful for me and my marriage. It provides insight into our negative behaviors and challenges us to be accountable. I think the program will provide tools and training long after the course is finished in a few months.
