Satisfied Customers
V’s Home Improvement came to our home in July 2024 to provide a quote for basement and bathroom renovations. Once we accepted the quote and the initial date was set to begin the work. V’s associates were on time, professional and very informative at each stage of our renovations. We were truly happy with the overall painting, flooring, additional lighting, renovation of the bathroom, subfloor & front door replacement - to include painting, interior & exterior of the door. We see V’s Home Improvement as a top tier company that provides a great service, which we would gladly recommend to family and friends. We look forward to our next project with V’s Home Improvement.
Truly Amazing
V's Home Improvement did such an amazing job, I am truly speechless at the work they did! I had two bathrooms redone at the same time, they were fast, super responsive, very professional and hard working! They showed up on time every day and even worked on Saturdays! I cannot thank V's enough for the amazing job they did, you will not regret using them for any projects you may have, they can do it all!
V's Home Improvement went above and…
V's Home Improvement went above and beyond to help me with renovations during a particularly stressful time. The work is beautiful and my house now feels like a home thanks to them. They were pleasant to work with and obviously cared about their work. I look forward to hiring them again when I get my next home improvement impulse!
Thank you V's Home Improvement!!
A quick shot out to "Vs Home Improvement" for the recent repair work done to our TH in Mount Airy. We are very happy with their work and highly recommend them! A leak in the master shower caused damage to the out facing wall. During the repairs, we discovered that there was no siding paper on the wall. I had the entire front and back of the TH checked and confirmed that there was no siding paper at all on both front or back. V's Home improvement worked with us in getting the bathroom repairs done as well as replacing the damaged wall and installing the siding paper to the front and back of the TH. We were so pleased with the work that we had them renovate the bathroom as well as install a concrete patio under our deck. They do it all!
My experience with this company was…amazing
My experience with this company was amazing. A friend recommended them to me and can’t thank her enough. After the previous company nearly destroyed my bathroom, V’s Home Improvement came and did an outstanding job in making my bathroom like a spa sanctuary. I enjoy it everyday. They were easy to work with, friendly, cleaned up everyday and did an excellent job. I cannot thank them enough for a job well done. Also, the work was performed within the timeframe Jose told me it would be. You can’t go wrong with hiring this company for your home improvement needs. Thanks again Jose and team.
Good job!
Renovating your home is stressful. We interviewed several contractors and selected V’s Home Improvement. This was a right choice. Jose’s crew was always on time. Before starting daily work provided floor covers and even created dust partitions. Always cleaned at the end of the day. Tile workmanship was very good. We highly recommend V’s Home Improvement. They definitely made our master bathroom renovation less stressful.
Great Contractor, Great Experience!
We hired V’s Home Improvements for our recent Kitchen & Bathroom Remodel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Our 1970’s Bathroom needed a total remodel and our kitchen was due for a facelift involving new counters & backsplash as well as some electrical work. Jose came to our home and walked through the project, collecting information and answering all of our questions with patience and competence. My partner & I are both women and one thing we noticed right away is that Jose treated us with respect & professionalism- zero mansplaining with him.His estimate was detailed and fair and he was very transparent upfront and let us know how any additions/ enhancements would impact our pricing. His contracts are based on the homeowner purchasing most of the materials themselves and Jose providing the crew & project management. We didn’t have any experience with purchasing building materials for a full remodel and had a lot to learn. Jose provided us with a detailed list and stayed in touch during the purchasing process to provide guidance- it felt like a big accomplishment when we crossed the last item off the list. Our project kicked off with Bathroom Demo day and right away, we could see how efficient & meticulous his crew is. At the end of day one, the bathroom & kitchen demo were completely done but without the huge mess & disruption we’d expected. Jose’s workers are awesome. From carpentry to plumbing, paint, electrical & tile work, they are all professional & extremely respectful of the homeowner & home. Jose was constantly in contact to provide updates, answer questions, handle scheduling & rescheduling of subs. He’s just a fantastic Project Manager who takes great pride in his work and he’s also just a really nice guy. The final product is beautiful - we love how the bathroom & kitchen turned out! If you’re looking for a contractor you can trust and who’ll do a great job at a fair price, you can’t go wrong with V’s Home Improvement!
Basement Finishing
Jose and his team took our basement from concrete to completely finished and it looks amazing. The team was thorough and the workmanship was excellent. I'm so excited to use this new space in our home.
Best Work Ever At This Price
I initially found V's Home Improvement on a recommendation on Next Door. I had already contacted several other contractors to replace a tub in my bathroom. One price was $18,000 and another $9,500. When I got estimate from Jose, the price was approximately $7,500. I had to supply basically the tub, most of the the materials, and hardware. I was glad I knew about all this stuff, even though Jose helped me. It could be intimidating to others. I am sure it did save me on some of the costs. Jose suggested tile work changes, a niche, and other items I had not considered, which made the final outcome outstanding. I now just stand there and admire the work that V's just completed. The workers were all experts in what they did. They were courteous, smooth, and mindful to keep the house as clean as possible. They cleaned up so much that they even took several items of mine that I had to retrieve later.
Amazing team
Amazing team! Quick response on the inquiry; reasonable pricing for the project; incredibly fast appointment time and the crew who did the install were great. All around professionals; took their time but also worked efficiently if that makes sense. They were precise on their cuts into the tile for my backsplash which ultimately saved me money as I could return a good chunk of unused tile. They cleaned my kitchen up as if the backsplash was always there. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. And always love giving my business to a fellow veteran.
V's Home Improvemen is fantastic…
V's Home Improvement did a fantastic job adding an office room in our basement. Jose utilizes specialist for each step of the project. This provides fast and efficient work with a high quality. I've finished basements before and I'm very picky. V's team does quality work that passes my inspection. Thank you Jose

V’s renovated and upgraded the entire upper level of our 23 year old (builder grade and very lived-in) home, including 2 full bathrooms and paint and carpet in 4 bedrooms. They also repaired the railing on our front porch and painted the whole exterior of our home. Everything looks amazing, and we absolutely love how our home feels new again!! They do wonderful work!
Great service
Very happy we made the decision to go with Vs Home Improvement! They provided us with outstanding service and we will definitely use them again!
I HIGHLY recommended V's Home Improvement
Working with V's Home Improvement was a breeze! From the planning stages to the work being done, Jose communicated effectively and his crew was phenomenal. He gave me honest feedback and made tasteful recommendations. I plan to work with Jose in the future for many more projects. My garage caulking, paint, and gutters are BEAUTIFUL!
After several weeks of thorough…Excellent Experience
After several weeks of thorough research to find a contractor to remodel our main bathroom, I came across V’s Home Improvement reviews on the Nextdoor app. After privately consulting with some of the reviewers about their experiences and work and reading about the owner’s background as a former military and current law enforcement personnel with a 30-year law enforcement career, I felt more comfortable awarding the project to Jose and V’s Home Improvement. I had many ideas for changes and upgrades during the construction project after viewing various bathrooms online. I decided to upgrade the materials, furniture, and fixtures. Initially, my wife could have been more enthusiastic about the project, but she was impressed with the result. Jose and I maintained excellent communication throughout the project, and the workers he sent were always punctual, careful, courteous, and willing to assist with any other requests. If anyone is considering remodeling their bathroom, I highly recommend contacting Jose at V’s Home Improvement for the project. You will not regret it, trust me. Thank you, Jose and the crew, for making my bathroom beautiful.

We engaged V's on two separate projects for our corporate facilities. Both times, Jose and his team completed the work in a timely fashion and to spec. In addition, Jose's team was incredibly communicative and thoughtful in their interactions with our Team Members, as they went about completing their project. We remain very pleased with V's completed project!
V's Home Improvement completed my bathroom remodel.
V's Home Improvement completed my upstairs bathroom renovation. Jose had some great ideas to maximize the footprint. This included moving the location of the sink, toilet and shower. He also suggested changing the entrance to another wall. What a difference that has made! Jose was quick to respond to any questions I had during the process. His team was efficient, tidy and always on time. They replaced windows, remodeled the bathroom, painted my stairwell and moved the entrance to the bathroom. I'm very pleased with V's Home Improvement. I've been recommending them to my friends, family and clients.

We had a pipe burst in our basement and working with V’s Home Improvement made the experience much easier. We loved the responsiveness of the team, their prompt communication, their willingness and flexibility when working with our insurance company, and how they sped up our project timeline whenever possible. In the end, we got drywall, fresh paint, new padding and carpet all within a short time period. We can’t recommend V’s Home Improvement enough and will surely use them again for future projects.
