Shipment was delayed a day, dry ice gone. further delay would have ruined the order. Use extra dry ice in case of shipping delays.

I've been ordering from them for years. Everything arrives well packaged and have never had any issues like I have with some other vendors. The fish is delicious. I highly recommend Walleye Direct for high quality seafood.

Ordering was easy

Ordering was easy, shipping info accurate and beer battered filets arrived a day early, still completely frozen. I later tried the fish baked, per the instructions and they were good, moist, not dried. I next tried deep fried, which I preferred. Per instructions again, they were nice and crispy, while still moist and fine textured. Really good product. I'll surely order again.

Easy to shop, order and get confirmation on my first ever experience with your company. Receive one day earlier than expected and in perfect condition. Tracking was easy also. Tried baking the beer battered walleye initially and was pleased. To compare, I'll try deep frying next time. So far, so good.

The delivery was fast and secure, keeping it cold. The fish is so good. I am from Wisconsin, and I have lived there for over 50 years. I love and miss my Friday fish frys. It is part of my culture. I live in Texas now, and the fish is definitely not the same. This was my first order, and I will continue to order. I feel like I truly have a taste of home with me. Thank you.

Delivery was late and fish had already begun to thaw. Definitely not good for fish. You need to get on your delivery system. Second time I have had thawed product .

The yellow perch pieces were really small…

I’ve enjoyed your walleye, and have been waiting for yellow perch to become available. Finally, I was able to order. The yellow perch seemed to be cleanly flash frozen. The pieces were smaller than I expected from the description provided, specifically that they were “larger this season”. Many of the pieces were about the size of playing cards. That was disappointing.

I was not sent the fish I ordered.

I ordered sauger which was stated as being smaller fillets (4-6 per pound or 20-30 per 5 pounds) and got what I'm certain was walleye (14 fillets per 5 pounds).

Arrived late but the fish was great

a explosive mess in the box

a packet of the baked beans had exploded on everything in the box. clean-up and clean-out was necessary and we questioned contamination. the company was reticent to do anything other than offering a credit for one pack of beans. we will see if we order ever again
