We are making a 12ft harvest table. Since the weight is about 4-500lbs, we are making 3 robust trestles. The bolts that we purchased will have the heads painted black. So these connectors will act functionally as well as aesthetically We needed the size to match the 4x4 Red Oak for the trestles that we are making.
Very fast delivery and great pricing. Quality is good.
Order arrived promptly. Good assortment of bolts and good quality.
UPS said a problem tracking pkg. Sent not to vendor, who replied item received. I looked [3 weeks later] and I did receive the item. Thanks
Very satisfied with my order in terms of price, selection and delivery. Thanks!
1/4" lag bolts are made of peanut brittle. These things break in soft pine when tightening by hand with a 3/8 socket (no pressure needed). Some of the heads snapped off while trying to get them OUT of soft pine wood. 3" exterior screws look pretty cheap too. Shipped fast though.
Sorry to hear that. Did you pre-drill the holes for the Lag Screws? It is recommended to pre-drill the whole length of the screw for all Lag Screws, even the 1/4". Even a pilot hole being drilled too small can cause these kinds of issues. The Striker Brand exterior screws are a decent screw that is sold in many hardware stores. We also carry Grip Rite exterior screws. We stand behind the products we sell. If you have any problems with the exterior screws we would be happy to replace them with the Grip Rite, or refund the purchase price. As long as the Lag Screws are being used as recommended we stand behind those as well. Please email us with more info on the Lag Screws and we will see what we can do. -Rand WholesaleBolts.com
This vendor has always been fast and accurate with my orders, which is chrome hardware for minibike restorations. They have a good selection and prices are in line with other fastener companies. I always return here for my needs.
Somehow the UPS tracking number was input incorrectly, so I couldn't track our package of bolts which my husband needed to complete a project before winter sets in. When I called to inquire, I was pleasantly surprised to immediately be connected with a real voice who promised to research the issue and get back with me. An hour later he called to tell me that the package was out for delivery, and within minutes our UPS man was driving down the lane! Woo hoo! Excellent customer service!
Found WholesaleBolts.com after McMaster Carr cancelled our order because their website messed it up. This held up a job. WholesaleBolts.com not only had a better price on the bolts we needed, but shipping them fast AND they were VERY well packed. We're impressed.
Ordering was easy and delivery was fast but the Shipping and Handling costs far exceeded the cost of the item!
They shipped my bolts the next day and the price was great!!
Great! Fast shipping
these bolts nuts etc were of great quality no problem with threads and the fact they were galvanized. I'll order from them when I have need again.
Surprisingly fast and cheap for a pretty heavy box of bolts. definitely my new go to for at least all my bolt needs. kind of annoyed ive been getting robbed by box store prices for years but no longer.
