7"RACHEL" IN ADMISSIONS HAS IMPOLITE ONE-SIDED CONVERSATIONS WHEN YOU CALL FOR HELP...SHE KEPT TALKING OVER ME WHEN I NEEDED HELP! SHE KEPT SAYING "IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP YOU WITH?" REPEATEDLY AS I KEPT ANSWERING, "YES, YES, I DO NEED HELP!" (TO TRY TO KEEP HER FROM SHOVING ME OFF IN SUCH A HURRY). SHE MADE SURE TO TALK LOUDER OVER ME EVERY TIME I TRIED TO ANSWER (I NEEDED HELP ON THEIR WEBSITE). SHE TALKED OVER ME, SAYING LOUDER, "OK SINCE YOU DONT NEED ANY MORE HELP, HAVE A NICE DAY, GOODBYE!" CLICK! SHE SEEMS TO HAVE INTERNAL STRUGGLES. GET HER HELP! I HOPE THEY RECORD CONVERSTATIONS AND HANDLE THIS! SHE HUNG UP ON ME AS I KEPT YELLING, "WAIT, WAIT!" I'M COMPLETELY SHOCKED! I'M FURIOUS SOMEONE WOULD DO THIS WHEN I WAS HAVING TROUBLE NAVIGATING THEIR SITE AND I PAY THEM TO TREAT ME THIS WAY? THAT WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND CONDESCENDING, I'M IN DISBELIEF! A ONE-WAY, MAKE IT LOOK GOOD TO THE OFFICE CONVERSATION. WE HAD A CRUSTAL CLEAR CONNECTION, (IN CASE THAT'S ANOTHER EXCUSE, LIKE HER PRETENDING I WAS OPPOSOTELY ANSERING HER). I CALLED RIGHT BACK HOPING TO GET SOMEONE ELSE. I GOT RACHEL AGAIN, WHO WAS IRRITATED AND SHORT, NOT HAVING A GOOD DAY. I HAVEN'T HAD THIS BEHAVIOR IN DECADES! THEY NEED TO SCREEN STAFF BETTER! I'M IN DISBELIEF! LISTEN TO HER RECORDED CONVERSATIONS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! NOW THEY WANT MY CONTACT INFO OR THEYLL CLAIM ITS A FAKE REVIEW TO CANCEL IT. THIS SEEMS TO BE HOW THEY CONTROL HONEST REVIEWS. I PROVIDED A NAME AND MORE INFO THAN NECESSARY BUT ITS CLEAR THEY WANT MY CONTACT INFO WHEN IM NOT ABOUT TO PROVIDE THAT. LAST THING I NEED IS TO COMMUNICATE AGAIN! SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE DOES TO PEOOLE AND I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I WAS HUNG UP ON.
We are committed to providing every student and prospective student with outstanding service, which is why we took this review very seriously and made multiple attempts to investigate the concerns. After this review was posted, we requested identifying information so we could locate the interaction and review the recorded phone calls. The email address that was provided did not match any student or prospective student record in our system. Despite this, our CEO personally emailed the reviewer three separate times requesting additional information so we could identify the call, review the recording, and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, those emails went unanswered. Excel High School records all customer service calls for quality assurance and training purposes. If we can identify the individual or the interaction, we can review exactly what occurred and take appropriate action if our standards were not met. We cannot do that without sufficient identifying information. Because the reviewer has not provided verifiable information that would allow us to locate the interaction, we have been unable to substantiate the claims made in this review. For that reason, we do not believe this reflects a verifiable student or customer experience. We encourage prospective students to consider the experiences of our broader student community. Excel High School has earned nearly 1,000 five-star reviews and maintains a 4.8-star rating on Trustpilot, reflecting the experiences of thousands of students and families we have proudly served. If this reviewer genuinely wishes to have the matter investigated, we remain willing to do so. Simply provide enough information for us to identify the interaction, and we will promptly review the recorded call and address any concerns. - Team Excel High School
"High school at your own pace?" Except its NOT! They withhold exams for months for no benefit to students, making sure the content isn't fresh for exams. They have MANY deceitful reasons that turned to be FALSE when verified (banking that you won't check). There's NO proven academic or credentialing or legal reason for withholding student exams. Their rationale is not supported by any statistics, regulations, accreditations, or laws on earth! Withholding exams from students seems to be more of greed,(i dont see how but im sure nonsensical things like this are usually greed driven) yet they baselessly frame it like its helping someone! Read complaints as they gaslight you about it! Who wants to take any course, only to have tests delayed months later? Find me a single study on earth, showing delaying tests for months is a benefit to anyone (while they gaslight you, bold enough to openly lie) -I'llwait... (Check other reviews to verify all the wildly deceitful excuses they've used)!
We take all student feedback seriously, which is why we asked the reviewer to provide their name, student email address, or phone number so we could investigate the concerns raised. Unfortunately, the reviewer declined to provide any identifying information, making it impossible for us to verify that this reflects an actual student experience or to investigate the claims. The statements made in this review do not accurately reflect how our adult programs operate. Excel High School offers flexible, self-paced learning, including accelerated pathways for adult learners. Students progress through courses in a systematic manner, and in our adult competency-based education (CBE) programs, courses can be completed as quickly as a student demonstrates mastery. We do not have a policy of withholding exams for months as described in this review. Our team is committed to helping students succeed, and if any student experiences a concern, we work diligently to resolve it. That is precisely why we requested additional information, but none was provided. Prospective students should also consider the broader experience of our student community. Excel High School has earned nearly 1,000 five-star reviews from students and graduates who have successfully completed their education with us. While we welcome constructive feedback, we also believe it is important that reviews be based on verifiable experiences. If this reviewer is, in fact, a current or former student, we again invite them to contact us directly with their name or student information so we can investigate the matter thoroughly and work toward a resolution. -Team Excel High School
The best experience ever!! Just finished my last course today and I am so deeply grateful for excel high school for providing me the opportunity to finish my diploma at home❤️ Unfortunately I fell horribly ill at 15 and had to be removed from school. I’ve been living with the consequences of my ongoing illness impacting my life and education for nearly 10 years. School had been an incredibly painful subject for me because I love learning but my health prevented me from completing high school. Beforehand I was in another adult program that suddenly required in person classes which prevented me from being able to complete the program. Excel, thank you from my whole heart for providing me the opportunity to achieve this goal I have dreamed of for years! The user experience was simple and easy to navigate, the staff was so lovely and supportive and the quality of the program is outstanding! Highly recommend choosing Excel, thank you!

The website is poorly made, there are a good amount of bugs around ; progress not updating, some pages breaking during lesson and so on. The helpdesk helped me a few times, but I shouldn't be the one reporting bugs multiple times, as this is an academic website and they should watch out for feedback. One other interaction I had with a staff, asking about IGCSE exams, I was answered with only ONE sentence, while I had asked multiple questions. Overall some lessons were well, some outdated or old, the only negative experience was with the website and a few staffs.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating technical issues can be, and we appreciate you reporting them. Student feedback plays an important role in helping us continuously improve our Learn Stage learning platform and curriculum. Our technology team regularly releases enhancements and updates to improve performance, usability, and the overall student experience. While we're disappointed to hear about your experience, we're also proud that Excel High School maintains a 4.8-star overall rating, with the vast majority of students finding our learning platform easy to use and our support team responsive and helpful. In addition, our BRYTE AI Tutor is available 24/7 to help students with course content, answer questions, and provide guidance every step of the way. Regarding your inquiry about IGCSE Cambridge International examinations, U.S. high schools, including Excel High School, do not offer or administer the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, so our staff is unfortunately unable to provide detailed guidance on those examinations. We apologize if our response did not fully explain this at the time. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and wish you continued success in your educational journey. – Team Excel High School
