Wanted me to sign a contract immediately.
We contacted Gator to get a quote on a metal roof. "Brad" came out and began the process by extolling the virtues of Gator. After 15 minutes, I asked, "So, roughly how much will this cost?" That's when Brad started talking about a "5% to 25% discount IF we allow a yard sign and leave a review"... Sure, I said - I would do that anyway. Then he said, "So, if that sounds good to you, I can give you a quote, but you'll have to sign the contract today". Today? Really? Isn't there a "30 day guarantee" on the quoted price? "No", he said. "If I offer a discount, you have to sign this evening." Scam. Avoid at all costs. Never did get an estimate. Called the company to complain and they said we weren't the first one to have an issue with Brad. I guess we'll look elsewhere now.

They did a great job on my roof. I have a 118-year-old home that needed a roof replacement as soon as possible, and they replaced it promptly and did a beautiful job. I have no complaints and I recommend their great work.

Honorable, professional, knowledgeable and the best customer service I have found in the roofing industry.
It is rare this day and time to come across a company that has real customer service, honest employees and backs their word in writing. I had been searching for well over a year for an affordable roof. I really wanted a metal roof. I had done my homework and I knew that metal provided a lot more insulation and lifetime than an asphalt roof. I had all that given up on being able to afford a metal roof because everybody had been quoting me 40,000+ I was getting ready to go ahead and have new asphalt roof put on the house when I came across an ad on Facebook. The ad was for Gator Metal Roofing, so I went ahead and said what will it hurt to see what they say. I can honestly tell you I was so impressed with the concern that they actually had for my situation. I highly recommend Gator Metal Roofing. They made my roof experience extremely easy. From start to finish the entire job only took 3 weeks. Had it not been for a week and a half of rain it would have been about a week. If you’re wanting to do business with an extremely honorable business, you won’t go wrong with this one. Best prices, hands down the best customer service, professional and knowledgeable.
Exceeded our expectations
We had a great experience from the very beginning. Our initial call with Jamal was smooth. Our consultation with Brian was seamless. And the team that installed the roof were efficient, knowledgeable, and tidy. We were thrilled to be able to finance this investment. We are thoroughly enjoying our Hawaiian Blue roof! Scam artists re: warrantee and work guarantee
This company is a scam regarding warranties. We suffered extreme water damage from a leaking roof vent pipe seal to the tune of a couple thousand dollars. They refused to fix the problem, would never return calls, and generally ignored our requests for a fixing of the problem. Do not use this company.
Avoid like the plague
Our experience has been a home-owners NIGHTMARE. One of the metal sleeves (pipes) on the roof cracked and was missing a top when we'd had the roof for less than two years. We incurred thousands of dollars of damage to our property as our home was flooded with rainwater. Gator Metal Roofing put some caulk on the defective piece, which will only last a little while and crack again. We asked them to give us a proper sleeve and top to replace the defective one, and address some portion of the financial damage. They have stonewalled us for months with absolutely no response at all. As two senior citizens living on disability, these costs have been a terrible hardship and placed us in debt. We profoundly regret having worked with this company.
