Great booking experience
I checked pricing on several different booking agencies and directly with the hotel. Hotels One gave me the best price; lower than all the others! Booking was very easy and quick!

The website was easy to use and concise. I found the booking experience very easy. However, the car park information is not easy to understand and when I called to find out how/where to park I got a generic travel service who then gave out the hotel telephone number - would be much easier to have the telephone number on the website.
No Zero Star Rating Available
I have only given one star as there is not an option to give zero stars. I booked a hotel called the Sea Shell Hotel in Eastbourne via this website & received confirmation advising there was no reception at the hotel & I would be given access details 24 hours before. This did not materialise & I was unable to get in touch with them so I had to book another hotel two hours before I was due to get there. The Sea Shell hotel refuse to accept responsibility & maintain they should keep the money (I raised a dispute through my bank). Beware of the booking site & the Sea Shell Hotel.

I prefer booking on hotel sites directly (vs Priceline, booking.com, etc) but this was a user friendly site and a room was easily booked. Honestly, I thought I was clicking on the hotel website and didn't realize until the booking was complete that I am using a third party to book.

Read the fine print - NOT FREE CANCELLATION!
I was told I could cancel my reservation if needed. I went to cancel due to change of plans and was told the hotel would charge me for a full nights reservation (which I only had one night booked). HotelsOne said they would not charge a cancellation fee, BUT the hotel would in fact charge for a full night. This is NOT FREE CANCELLATION. This is clearly a misrepresentation and I will not book again with HotelsOne in the future.

Never mind using Booking.com or Trivago, booking direct with the hotel is simplicity itself. The process is so easy and clear to understand with plenty of information on the rooms and everything else this wonderful hotel has to offer.
