I appreciate the fact that after my frustrating experience of finding myself initially with a blank certificate, IAP College took the time to review my payment history and found out I paid for the whole Digital Marketing Program in advance, as well as for the Certificate. The final exam was a comprehensive one, but I was able to accomplish it. Thanks to IAP College for sending the "Legal" Certificates showing I successfully made it!

My experience with IAP College was great because it was easy to navigate, study and learn new skills. I loved all of the websites that were used as a reference to get started as a wedding planner. This was a well put together course. Even on quizzes that I didn't do well on on I was able to go back and study more then re- take it. I would highly recommend this college to anyone.

Death Doula Course is a Scam
Do not take the Death Doula course. It is a scam. It’s all about how to build a business, and barely about how to become an actual death doula; how to help the dying and their family manage dying and grief. It is an enormous waste of money. There was one lesson on what a death doula is and the other five lessons were about starting a business. Clearly, the college only cares about money and not people, if they are teaching how to only make money and not help people. Really, quite the opposite of a death doula. Then you have to pay $30 for a certificate that comes on the cheapest, thinnest paper. It’s not even cardstock. Rip-off. Scam. Response to Owner: Three Things - 1. You should really rename this course Death Doula Business Course: What to Do After Becoming a Death Doula. You say there’s information about how to care for the dying, but I AM TELLING YOU, that was ONE MODULE. If you’d int believe me, simply open the course and READ. It is so lackluster and doesn’t explain how to do anything. It said some things to suggest in the end, like wrapping a body, but doesn’t explain HOW TO wrap a body. It doesn’t give you links for green burials, or where to buy your own coffin. It doesn’t give you a checklist for celebration of life event coordinating. Those are just some of the suggestions I could give you to make your course better. When I realized the last five modules were about business, I was so unhappy. I then realized this was all money-based. I don’t need help selling myself, because I’m not here “for the bodies”. I WANT people to live. Being a death doula canNOT be a full-time job if you have a good heart. Period. You need to change the course name to fit what it actually is. You set expectations that are untrue and unfair. And yes, I want a refund. Update: 6/27 I was emailed and told they took my suggestions seriously and are going to work to improve the curriculum. I was also given a full refund, so that was nice. I would say just wait until they update the curriculum.

Nice explanation point in the end. The course was easy to navigate. In the beginning had issues with the sight and connection issues. Problem was resolved in a timely manner. I found the program I was pleasantly surprised at how my Teaching /Coaching experience as an educator will come into play. You said to be HUMOROUS. That's funny. I taught middle school for 20 years. I promise Ya humor was needed continually. Speaking in front of 45 to 60 kids a class was a cake walk. The games, activities, and pulling out their strengths was enjoyable. I worked for our family training and development business writing work manuals for heavy equipment part time for 10 years as well while teaching. I am currently publishing a Bulldozer Training Manual i wrote years ago. Your course help me put a lot of puzzle pieces together. I taught Health Education actually. SKILLS/Expertise ? I taught a very large variety of topics relating to the topics you all mentioned. Plus, I coached many years and helped develop stuff that helped kids. Now, due to your program. I can make a good living doing something I truly enjoyed. Helping and Serving others.

The course was very informative. I received a wealth of knowledge that will carry me forward in my new career. It was easy to navigate I like the fact that you could read and listen to the instructions. I was also impressed that the guys from shark tank recommended this course. Don’t Put It Off
I don’t like taking tests so I procrastinated a little. I realized that I decided to do this for a greater purpose so I sat down and dove in. I don’t know why I was putting it off. The material was easy to follow and I was able to listen while I was at work or while driving and even while I exercised. I was ready and I am very proud and excited of my results. Thank you IAP.
