I love k12

I love k12. It is a great school, great teachers , all together its great. Always recommend it to anyone and everyone. The new layout is a little different and kinda weird to get use to . Last year it added the attendance when they did there work , this year you had to add it yourself but it was not hard you just have to remember you have to do it.

I loved the flexibility

I loved the flexibility. The only thing we didn't like much is that some teachers cancel classes a lot. Some classes, like cooking and physical education, aren't very practical. Otherwise, it's excellent!

Worst School of All Time

This school is barely even an online school; it's the broke public school of online schools. How do you even achieve that? No flexibility, barely any AP courses, insane amount of assignments, counselors are useless, you have to go to youtube or khan academy to actually learn relevant things, and the content is mostly AI generated. I got an email from my ENGLISH teacher that was AI generated. Are you serious? BTW, that english teacher was horrible. She was nothing but an ultra millennial hypocrite that catered to the unfunny and annoying popular kids. I have genuine hatred for that teacher because not only was she extremely irritating, but she was also passive and treated teaching like a hobby. We mostly learned nothing in her classes, and mind you, it was an honors class. You don't learn anything at this school. My brother (who is in middle school at DAOF) has failed all of his state in-person tests, and he hasn't been held back once when he should be. No one at this school gets held back at all for some reason, even though the majority of students (especially the younger ones in middle school) fail their state tests. They're very clearly not ready to move up a grade, but they move up anyway. Many of the students submit AI generated answers and essays, but they get good grades for it and somehow get to graduate or move to the next grade. The teachers don't care if it's AI. The teachers themselves use and support AI. In one of my other honors class, a lot of the content being shown was AI generated. This school is just broke and cheap. The parents may be leaving good reviews, but as a student, this school is awful and makes me suicidal. If you love your kids, don't bring them here. I'm serious.

This is a great school

This is a great school. My son has excelled since being at this school. All of the staff is very helpful and understanding and the teachers are excellent.

My daughter feels more confident and is active meeting new friends. School is not too overwhelming and challenging.

The flexible schedule offered with the…

The flexible schedule offered with the flex program my son was in made transitioning into kindergarten a much easier time for my son. All his teachers were very friendly and patient with the kids (and parents) as we navigated the program through out the year. All the support we received from the teachers and staff was tremendous. My son enjoyed answering questions and collecting coins in the skills arcade. The games were a lot of fun for him. He really struggled reading with Amira. He didn't like that the stories didn't have pictures. Amira also had a hard time waiting for him to try and sound words out which frustrated him. Overall I am very satisfied with the program and we are excited for the next school year.

I like K12 a lot

I like K12 a lot. It is so easy to move around and your kids can still be in school while they have another experiences of life.

I don't care for the platform they used…

I don't care for the platform they used last year. I don't always feel entirely well informed. My son seems to like it though.

Online learning got my son at least 2 years ahead!

Soooo much better than our local school. Our son is at least 2-3 years ahead according to State/Star testing.

My child was able to work at her speed, the staff was helpful and had very great communication.

Way to many emails and notifications

Way to many emails and notifications. Too many Canvas CRAP also and we got away from it in side schools. Should have never took on Canvas! Well he is graduation and done now. Thank the Lord!

How safe is the virtual learning

Kids are failing not being turning big in work is able to get on other spikes, teachers not convincing that they actually care for the kid in the classroom nor work they compete

Teachers and staff are great

Teachers and staff are great. Changing the platform after school starting was not great. The new platform has way too many glitches and didn't need changed after all these years. Some parts of it are not as easy or transparent than the old platform.

Best decision I ever made for my child

I have been apart of the K12 system for going into the seventh year now this next coming School season. It's been the best decision we ever made to utilize this opportunity and be a hands on parent with my child's education parent. I like that I'm able to see if he has confusion and stop him and help him rather than him just getting his answer wrong or struggling I'm there to help before we move on. They offer a variety of face to face outings, counseling, engaging clubs in a wide variety of areas. It offers multiple ways of engaging in socialization with other peers his age daily. Again K12 was there for us when we needed education at home for our child and we haven't looked back since.

TNVA has been a blessing!!!

TNVA has been a blessing! Our kids had nothing but one set back after the other while being in traditional public schools. On top of curricular difficulties with little to no school support, our kids stayed sick constantly to the point of truancy even though it beyond any of our control. For the first time both of our kids made straight A's and had perfect attendance their first semester being at TNVA! The teachers and staff are phenomenal and do everything possible to help your child succeed with love and support! We couldn't be more happier with TNVA and we are continuing their education going forward with TNVA going forward! We highly recommend TNVA for their excellence, support, and staff!

We've been with K12 WAVA since 2021

We've been with K12 WAVA since 2021. Their curriculum is amazing. We love the fact that books and supplies are shipped several weeks before school starts. This gives us an opportunity to review curriculum for the upcoming year. We barely have to buy anything for school supplies except the basics: notebooks, pencils, crayons. The rest is provided especially for art class (e.g. tempera paint, oil pastels, watercolor, construction paper, clay, paintbrushes, etc.) The teachers are always one text away! All of the ones our children has had so far, we can tell they're happy to be there and love what they're doing!
