I have smoked a tobacco pipe for several years & was looking for a quality & attractive pipe tool. This is it! It’s probably the most attractive & sturdy pipe tool I’ll ever own. The exterior is a briar - like our briar pipes! Mechanically it operates like a Mercedes. I added some light oil to the metal joints. I choose a sheath but I was directed to a wiser choice - it too will surpass your expectations. Courteous & intelligent Customer Service; post & payment was smooth. Is it pricy? Sure … but in future years you’ll still have it, especially if you have your name engraved on it!
Hello Joseph, thank you for sharing your positive experience! We're thrilled to hear that our briarwood pipe tool has met your expectations in both quality and design. We're glad our Customer Service team could guide you to the best choice for your needs. We agree that the investment is worthwhile, especially with personalization like engraving—adding a timeless touch. We thank you for shopping with us at Laguiole Imports.
I've never bought any knife more than $30-$40 ever. Wanted something really nice as for use/for starting a collection/ conversation piece. The Forge de Laguiole Traditional 11 cm with a Cattle bone handle and a custom engraving on the blade is spectacular. The beautiful craftsmanship has heart and soul put into it. Definitely will be making a future purchase of a Laguiole Knife. BRAVO!!!
Hi Erik! Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that the Forge de Laguiole knife exceeded your expectations and has become a cherished piece. We look forward to serving you again in the future and helping you add more exceptional pieces to your collection.
