What people say

Lots of techniques across a ton of gear

The videos and courses are well arranged. Mostly cut into segments focused around a few topics. I really appreciate most of the presenters, but often I miss some vitally important detail about a specific keypress to activate a specific mode... and get lost trying to find one piece of basic knowledge that I probably should know but don't. It's frustrating to have to stop and figure out why my equipment is not responding the same way as on the screen with the presenter. So, at times I wish minor details were clearer. But, beyond that mostly excellent details about mid to advanced techniques across a ton of technology. That is a pretty good accomplishment for the level of advanced information available. Four stars because I wish there was a way to share and get feedback on my music, from a quality and creative perspective... So that I can better diagnose and resolve my own musical dilemmas. I don't have access to a trained or talented musician I can trust for feedback. Maybe that privilege should cost a few dollars extra? Maybe a few bucks listening fee per song... Maybe a few musicians could get together and listen and give the money to charity to support other musicians that are struggling. So great content, minus one star for feedback.

This is really valuable feedback Michael, thanks. We'll certainly take it on board. You might be pleased to hear we have just built a space for exactly what you want, the Producertech community is currently in Beta and will be released to all our members really soon. You can share your tracks, collaborate and get feedback from tutors and other users :)

Fantastic, I love it, and it's great

This company is great so far. Been studying their courses for nearly three months now, and the education has been simply delightful. I've been discouraged for a while about getting an education on formal music Production, as the cost and time investment are really high. The cost of the programs here is dirt cheap by comparison, and the quality has been great! You can pay in full for individual courses, but the subscription service costs me less than $15 USD a month for full access to every lesson they have, and it's self paced. As a full time employee, part time college student already, and a husband and father of three, this is the only program I have found that meets my needs and time constraints, and I love it. They're always adding new lessons detailing production tricks, techniques to improve the quality of your mixes, dedicated lessons on complex synthesizers and effects, and is way worth the penny. This is perfect for the at home musician who wants to expand their knowledge further. I highly recommend this program. Downsides are limited, but important: - much of the education is centered around one DAW, Abletone Live. If you do not have it, most of the education can be applied to other DAWs, but it can take some finagling to figure some of the tricks out - there is no course syllabus. You pick and choose what courses you want to take. If you are brand new, start with the tutorial for Ableton Live. - Some of the knowledge will be kind of confusing if you haven't worked with digital music production software before. It feels like the courses are, at times, aimed for people who already have something of an understanding of how their DAW works.

I think you have made a great work with the courses, but I woud add an itinerary to start from scratch and finish with pro courses. Thanks! Best Regards, Ricardo

Thanks Ricardo, we are working on new features to improve the flow of the courses. Eventually we want it to work in exactly this way!

Got a free trial during the first lockdown - and I've been with them, ever since. All genres, detailed courses and all ranges of abilities. Not bad for £10 a month !

Thanks so much for the review Darren :)

I love producertech

I love producertech! Robs and all of the other course instructors are great! I have to give a huge heads up to Rob though and his maschine course is what really got me back into music after almost 10 years. And I watch videos on here almost daily making well worth the price!
