First I want to say that Brad Newman was an amazing help they were super quick to respond, helped me out with any questions or problem I had with my account, I know in the past couple months it’s been hectic with prop firm but all I can say is good things about these guys at the moment, I recently just started there 100k phase 1 account and it’s been running smoothly. No complaints.

Their support is exceptional, no doubt about it. In my experience, they responded and gave me solutions for a problem, very fast. Also, I like both the Surgetrader's portal interface and it's trading rules.

Purchased lightning account and no login credentials received. Support not answering seems like they are on vacation. I will have to dispute the charge with my bank.
It's April 2nd and still no login credentials to SurgeTrader's migrated platform. The CEO sent out communications/videos sharing that (1) the migration was on-track to be completed by March 31st, and subsequently (2) that the migration was in fact completed by March 31st. April 1st came and no login credentials. April 2nd came and still no login credentials. If the CEO cannot be trusted concerning basic migration/business resumption commitments, why trust that they will honor their payout promises? Scam.
Surge Trader are in my experience a very professional and dependable firm. Their support in particular (Brad Newman assisted today) is always excellent — prompt, courteous, and effective!

Each time a good review is posted, the detractors label the reviewer as an "insider." I am as neutral as one can be. Regarding recent reviews, I'm not sure what they're referring to. Personally, I received my login details for my live/funded $1M account exactly as promised on April 1st. While it seems some accounts might be experiencing delays, the CEO clearly stated in the migration video that trading should be possible by the first week of April (this is till the first week). As for the platform itself, it surpasses MT4/MT5 in many aspects. An excellent feature is that you don't need to download the app on Android, for example; simply log in from the mobile browser and use the "Add it to Home Screen" function for no-login quick access anytime, anywhere with a single click. The spreads are incredibly tight, the best I've encountered, and overnight swap rates are at their lowest. Admittedly, there are still some issues with the Dashboard in terms of reporting and withdrawals, but I'm confident they're being addressed. It's important to recognize that SurgeTrader transitioned from FPFX (the tech provider) for our benefit, and I can already see improvements in technology, spreads, and swaps. I am sure they must be copy trading our live trades to hedge themselves, resulting in mutual benefit. Hopefully, SurgeTrader remains forever and grows to the top of the prop firms ladder, to the so we can continue benefiting.

After migration to MatchTrader, I missed an important feature that I learned from MT4/MT5: there is no closeby command anymore. The closeby is to close position by position of the other side, in order to reduce fee. Instead in MatchTrader, both buy and sell are to be closed individually, so no fee reduction... and extra spread cost is added...
The alternative is to use a netting account instead of hedging account, so that only netting positions are displayed. The fee would be then limited to only opening positions, and no extra spread costs at (partial) close time. At this moment, SurgeTrader offers only hedging accounts.
The mobile web application of Match Trader is less user friendly than the desktop web application as I need to use laptop to close partially a position.
Points to improve:
- add closeby order feature or provide a choice between hedging and netting account
- add more features like balance and equity info, sortability in positions table in mobile web application,...
Surge Trader are the best of the best. I am currently doing my $1m audition and the customer service has been top class, including the transition over to Match Trader. A big shout out to Sue Ramsey for all your help.

Didn't respect deadlines for the migration from mt4 to dxtrades and instead they went with matchtrader which is absolutely awful, you can't have the app on android. I dont see how this is an upgrade from mt4 as now i have to be in front of the computer at all times.
I found SurgeTrader over a year ago, and man, let me tell you, I’ve never felt more at home or more like a family than I do here.
With everything going on in the prop industry, Surge has been nothing but transparent, and been able to provide us traders with top tier service all throughout.
Yeah, we’ve had some changes, but almost all firms had. I wouldn’t leave Surge for anything. This isn’t a paid review, I’m just a happy trader that’s literally found home here at Surge.
To this day, Surge still has 100% payout record, and there’s not another firm in the industry that can say this.
Our Discord community, is so tight knit, I love seeing familiar faces whenever I go on, I can be gone a couple weeks and when I come back, I see the same old traders and new faces, always bubbling and talking trade ideas!
The Surge team, literally is the dream team! They really do treat you like family, and I just … you have to come and see it for yourself!
This is a shoutout to Sue , Corey , Nate, Jana and the whole SurgeTrader team! I’m so grateful for you guys a year + in, and excited for this new chapter with DXTrade !

All SurgeTrader customers have been without a trading platform for over 2 weeks. For 2 full weeks, maybe more depending on next week, we have NOT been able to trade at all. What's even more disappointing about this whole situation is that 1) other prop firms, like TFT, have already migrated everyone to DXTrade in less than a week and 2) some of those prop firms, like TFT, in the form of good customer service and appreciation for their traders, offered "compensation" for the inconvenience by adding significant virtual funds to challenge accounts, and discounts on new challenges with great terms. SurgeTrader doesn't even respond or even care about their traders. Very disappointing!!!

Account has been on hold now for 14 days!!! Sent a notification within the dashboard that they will be abruptly changing platforms to DXtrade. Originally stated the migration will be completed by March 5th. On March 1st they sent an update with the date being pushed back to today March 8th. Still not up and running and customer service is silent. I would HIGHLY Discourage anyone from joining this prop firm!!!

they do reply on emails agently when you enquire about an issue and that is good, however 'i am not happy that if they have an issue with they system updating ,they do not inform us and they do have our emails address, why do we have to ask on what's the problem whereas they can just inform us via email, learn to communicate before hand
