H all. I just cancelled my tawkify membership half way though. I paid many thousands of dollars for this service. It was so terrible that I decided to forfeit the money. This first date that I was set-up on was scheduled at a restaurant that was closing 45 minutes after arrival. The whole experience was rushed. The 3rd date I went-on, I could not find my date for about 20 minutes because she was seated at another table.i awkwardly introduced myself to people who were sitting alone until I finally found her. There was an attempt for a 4th date. Over a period of 2 months, they attempted to plan another date. They kept giving me options of days and times. I would choose dates and free my schedule accordingly, which can be quite challenging as a physician, and the date would never manifest. This happened 3 times over 2 months. The most annoying part is that as the date approached, they would not follow-up to let me know that it has not been confirmed. I would have to reach out to them, which resulted in varying degrees of responsiveness. I had to actively solicit them for feedback on my 3rd date, which they are supposed to provide automatically as part of he package. The quality and connection of the matches were lacking as well. It seemed to me like they were just selecting anyone who checked off boxes. I can’t say how disappointed in the service I am. It was supposed to provide convince but it was the opposite. It eventually got too expensive. Each time I moved my schedule, it cost me money. When I voiced my concern, there was no attempt at restitution, or ownership of the substandard quality they were delivering. They offered to pause my subscription and find a new matchmaker, but the matchmaker was not the issue. There was no attempt to keep me as a customer or change my perception of the service. They were content to let me walk. I was just a other subscriber to them. I was under then impression that the core of their service was personal touch. I’ve received more personal touch from artificial intelligence dating scams.

I spent a large amount of money for 3 dates. I had a great meeting with my matchmaker. We spent an hour figuring out what criteria would be important for a good match. The first two dates went well, but each one declined to see me again. Their feedback was that, while I was a nice, fun, intelligent guy, because I didn't share "life goals" with them, they didn't want to pursue it any further. However, I specifically told my matchmaker what my life goals were. Either she ignored me, or she didn't bother to look at the life goals of my dates and figure out that it wouldn't work before setting me up with them. Further, I had asked specifically that I match with someone who was raised in this country. I hope I am not judged for this, but it is something I want. Two of the three dates were born and raised oversees (incredibly nice, intelligent and attractive, but again, this is not something I wanted). Like the "life goals" thing, my matchmaker must have completely ignored this. The third date went well. But ultimately we decided not to pursue it any further. I have no problems with Tawkify over this. When I spoke to Tawkify, they assured me this lack of success was normal, and that if I purchased 3 more dates I would increase my likelihood of success. This is like asking you to buy more of a product that hasn't worked in the first place (and in fact it is normal that it doesn't work in the first place), because maybe it will work next time. I would not advise using this company.

MaryFrances was great. I originally declined to go on a blind date via Twakify, but she convinced me to sleep on it and checked back over the next couple of days. I was curious so agreed. Then had a great chat with her which gave me a lot of confidence that this set up was going to be within my tolerances - as I'm not a particularly thirsty dater. Kudos to MaryFrances! Jake at Tawkify is just amazing so far. He listens and I mean deeply listens. He over communicates and wants to hear the feedback on each date so he can make adjustments. And he’s good at knowing when to flex just outside your preferences to ask if you’re open to someone he knows will be great. I’ve enjoyed working with him!

Lydia was my first matchmaker. She did not listen to the nuances of what I required and did not follow up with me. She definitely was just hitting her quota and wasted 2 of my matches. Natasha was great! She really listened and focused on the nuances. She answered my questions honestly to make sure my expectations were realistic unlike Lydia. Overall I would not recommend using the matchmaker but being in the dating pool would be worth the money. Tawkify does not have good communication or customer service in rectifying issues and matchmaker misconduct
