I volunteer on the prayer team for the online campus for Jentezen Franklin's church, Free Chapel. The team and I take this time of responding to prayer requests very seriously. I, 95% of the time, will put YoungMin You's Piano version of "Way Maker" on loop. I turn it down softly, and pray as I open up the first message from a hurting soul reaching out for prayer. The Holy Spirit is felt through this piece and it blesses me every single time. Truly, because of his obedience to play as unto the Lord, the Holy Spirit is able to reach through his fingers on the piano keys, to my fingers on the computer keys....reaching and comforting others with scripture. Worshipful. Thoughtful. Relaxing. Familiar. That's what I like most about all of YoungMin's work. It relaxes my mind; puts me in a thoughtful, reflective place; and enables me to worship God more fully. And there's just enough of the familiar or seeming familiar to bring joy in wonderful memories. I worship God through the images and through the music. I love receiving your music. I take the time to listen to each piece now and allow the messages to wash over me, it really transforms my day! A year or so ago you wrote a piece expressing the sorrow of losing someone special and that resonated with me losing my husband. Oh well I know he now belongs to heaven but sometimes grappling with that is not easy, when we (kids and I) miss him every day! So, at the time of hearing this piece you couldn't imagine how it truly helped to lift such sadness from my pool of pain and it brought so much comfort and healing! Each day God brings me closer to understanding that even though we face challenges in life, He is always with us and if we look for Him He can be found.
