For our Greece packages, we work with different guides in each city, and some optional tours—such as the Delos Island tour—require guides with specialized knowledge. This results in having different guides throughout the trip. The included guided city tours are conducted by a designated tour guide, while transfers are coordinated by local representatives. We make it a priority to be transparent by outlining the travel style of each trip on the tour detail page, which explains the level of guiding and assistance included. We apologize if the semi-independent nature of this trip was not made clear enough and will use your feedback to improve the clarity of our tour descriptions. It’s very important to us that our guides are professional, responsive, and passionate about providing enriching experiences for our guests. We are deeply sorry that this was not your experience and that you did not receive the assistance you needed in such an urgent situation. We are currently investigating the issues you’ve raised and will get back to you as soon as we receive a report. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. We hope you were still able to enjoy the beauty of Greece overall! Update 01/02/2026 - Thank you for your patience while we checked with our local partner and attempted to contact the affected traveler to gather more details about the situation. We received a report confirming that two of our team members—one from Reservations and our Santorini representative—were in continuous communication with the affected client from the onset of the injury and remained with them throughout the trip and their hospital stay. We also arranged a transfer for their revised return date. Regarding the Caldera Sailing tour that the clients purchased on the island at a lower rate, unfortunately, we were not in a position to be aware of any special offers that independent sailing companies may provide. Such offers depend entirely on availability, and there is always the possibility that no spaces would have been available had the tour not been booked in advance. Thank you again for your valuable feedback and we hope you will give us another chance.
