Dear Dwayne, We’re sorry to hear you're feeling disappointed, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. During your enrollment into an estimated 60-month program, our team successfully negotiated and settled two of your accounts with your approval, equating to more than 45% of your enrolled debt load. After a creditor settlement is approved and the first payment toward that settlement has been made, our service fee for negotiating the debt becomes applicable. Our service fee is outlined in the signed agreement, was acknowledged during a quality assurance compliance call prior to enrollment and was reviewed during your enrollment. While we can confirm that you opted into the optional third-party legal plan and were actively paying for those services, we would like to clarify that Alleviate did not request additional funds following your receipt of a legal document. Court filing fees are mandated by the court in order to file a response, and while we understand the third-party provider informed you of those fees in order to proceed, Alleviate did not request any additional funds. We understand that you have since canceled your program. A manager attempted to connect with you directly to address your concerns further, and we understand that you have since spoken with a member of our team.
