Many people find managing daily business finances simple and efficient, deeply appreciating how smooth the overall setup feels from day one. Reviewers often praise the helpful staff who go above and beyond to resolve payment links and account questions promptly. 用户怎么说

I am deeply disappointed with the…

I am deeply disappointed with the extremely poor quality of service provided by Aspire. Despite multiple attempts to resolve a simple issue related to incoming transfers, the situation remains unresolved for an unacceptably long period. The lack of transparency, unexplained return of funds, and the failure to process international transfers correctly indicate serious deficiencies in Aspire's operations. Even worse, the funds have not been returned to the client, raising concerns about Aspire potentially holding and using client money for its own purposes.

Aspire is the worst payment…

Aspire is the worst payment institution. Their website is misleading, they do not state clearly their features. You will open a EUR account but in the end will not have access to a card and will be forced to open a USD account. They also do not explain better what they can and cannot do and will let the customer get confused. If you can avoid this fintech, do it.

This is not the company for you

This is not the company for you. They harass you. If you fall behind, they call you names. The guy contacting me is Hamid, and he’s the most rude person ever. Economic hardship doesn’t fly with them. They act as if they own you. Go somewhere else.

Crouching tiger, hidden fees (everywhere)

Aspire are a shady business, always trying to hide fees and take little bits wherever they can. Branded as a solution to save money for small businesses but instead, charge fees for everything and make it extremely complicated and cumbersome for anyone trying to send money to an aspire account. Easy to use for internal affairs but you will waste money if you do enough business and use the account. For example, SGD35 flat fee for receiving funds in SGD via Swift transfer and because it’s a “flat fee”, the transaction report shows up as zero transaction fees. It’s a Singaporean business btw, how does this make sense?? Also, USD 8 for a bunch of incoming transactions, monthly user fees once you have a second user, etc.

...hard pass after 6-months, looking for an alternative

Looking for an alternative. Wasted lots of time trying to make this work as CFO/COO. From a product standpoint, it falls short. Let's start with the bad UI/UX, both online and mobile app. Try setting up a payment and you'll know what I mean. For EEs, try submitting a claim on your phone. The way they implement CC pre-authorization makes no sense at all. Just follow what banks do and make it hidden behind the scenes instead of cluttering up the transaction listing. The way claim reimbursements show up on EEs bank account makes no sense. And why would they not batch claims into a single payment? Paying suppliers outside of Singapore using Currency Cloud makes no sense -- it shows up as a 3rd party payment and creates even more delays. I have plenty of experience with bookkeeping (Xero, Intaact), expense management (Concur, Expensify), and payroll (i.e. Gusto, Talenox). Do yourself a favor and start elsewhere.

They rob their own customers

This is not disclosed on their website, but if your company is not incorporated in Singapore, you may be charged much higher fees than what is disclosed on the website. For example, companies incorporated in Hong Kong will be charged 0.4% for both incoming and outgoing SWIFT transfers, instead of a flat fee. This is definitely a robbery. It looks like their website has all the information disclosed, but in fact, they do not follow the information disclosed, and their account managers can adjust your rates at will. If a financial institution breaks its own rules at will, it is not trustworthy, especially when your money is with it. Stay away from this payment institution (yes, it is not a bank), otherwise you will only cause trouble for yourself and your business.

Hi Phoenix, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. It is of utmost importance and priority that our team provides accurate and transparent pricing information to our clients. Unfortunately, the current information on our website does not yet cover the Hong Kong market and is more applicable to Singapore. We are also working on standardising pricing information across jurisdictions to bring clarity to our clients on how to price our services. In the meantime, please feel free to get in touch with either our support team or your assigned account manager for any further clarification you require for any of the services we provide, including fees.

If I can give a 0 or -10 rating

If I can give a 0 or -10 rating, I'll do that. Received sms that my client transferred payment to my account - no, it's not in. Engaged the customer service chat - useless. Said it's beyond their jurisdiction to trace and need my client's transfer receipt. Very lousy, as good as a stored value card and nothing else.

Very fraudulent marketing and useless customer service

They are extremely useless. Their values are very fraudulent and put up false marketing. Customer service is extremely rude and arrogant. Transactions typically don’t clear. You have to wait sometimes for months. Please stay away from this so-called bank. I do not recommend anyone or any company especially if you are a startup. They are very fraudulent

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you’ve had such a negative experience with Aspire. We understand that prompt transactions, as well as respectful customer service, are crucial—especially for startups and small businesses that depend on timely access to funds. Firstly we would like to sincerely apologize for the frustration you have experienced. We do want to clarify that Aspire is not a bank, but a Payment Services Institution that partners with tier 1 banks to provide your business with a secure financial platform. We are committed to addressing your concerns and would appreciate the opportunity to investigate what went wrong. Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] so we can look into your specific situation and work towards a resolution.

Would not recommend

Because they use Currency Cloud, inbound and outbound transfers take forever, especially on weekends, feels like no one works weekends. Because everything takes so long. Customer service is terrible. They have no answers to your inquiries. Their customer support ONLY WORK SINGAPORE TIMEZONE, so if youre in the USA (like me) you will get NO SUPPORT. When i signed up, i was told transfers were immediate (like Wise) but its not. It's just a horrible experience for a business like mine. Unreliable and gets worst by the month. Looking for an alternative right now.

Aspire 回复2024-11-05

Hey GGJ, We’re very sorry to hear that your experience with Aspire has not met your expectations, especially with regard to transfer times and customer support availability. Aspire partners with Currency Cloud to facilitate cross-border payments, and while this enables secure transactions, we know that delays, especially on weekends can be frustrating. We're continuously working to improve these processes and streamline transfer times. As for customer support, we are aware of the challenges our global clients face due to time zone differences, and we’re actively exploring options to expand support hours. We’d like the opportunity to look into your specific situation further and discuss any immediate ways we can assist. Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can look into your specific situation and work towards a resolution.

TERRIBLE DELAYS RUBBISH SERVICE

**Review of Aspire Bank: Beware of International Transfer Issues** Aspire Bank's handling of international payments is unacceptable. We faced over a week of delays for a simple US$1750 transfer to a GBP account. Despite following all guidelines, the transaction was blocked and subjected to excessive scrutiny. Customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. They aren’t proactive in providing solutions. If your business relies on timely international payments, avoid Aspire Bank. Their service is unreliable and causes severe disruptions.

Hi Holly, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Firstly we would like to sincerely apologize for the frustration you have experienced. We do understand how this has caused a setback to your business and our team is working hard to resolve your issue as quickly and efficiently as possible. We understand that our customer support team has already reached out to you via both call and email to provide detailed information on the status of your transaction. We did want to clarify that Aspire is not a bank, but a Payment Services Institution that partners with tier 1 banks to provide your business with a secure financial platform. Once again, we apologize for these difficulties you have experienced and committed to making your experience with Aspire a positive one.

This is not a bank

This is not a bank. Endless problems with transferring international payments. If you are a founder, just get a real bank account. Might take a few more days to get set up, but will avoid endless back and forth, because Aspire uses third parties and intermediaries, and real banks will not transfer. This happened 4 years ago with my first company, and then thinking they had improved, I tried them again. Same issues. Avoid if you have any international payments - huge headaches.

most dishonest rip-off…

This is the most dishonest rip-off oriented credit card company I've ever witnessed.. if you make a payment at 5:02 p.m. you get charged a late fee because 5:00 p.m. is the cut off when every other bank on the planet is 11:59 p.m. the date of payment due. They lie about their interest rate and they suck
