Several members of my family occupy positions at the senior/executive levels in both private and government positions. We are constantly required to evaluate our respective organization's performance both outward facing and internally with our employees. Bluetti was referred to me by a family member as a service provider of choice for solar power solutions and included positive product quality praise as was with their customer service experience. I found my experience to be consistent and will add that dealing with the Bluetti representative(s) left me with the impression I was dealing with a polished, professional no-nonsense representative when dealing with sales questions and then the transaction itself. My situation posed unique complexities related to sales tax calculations and potential logistical challenges related to shipping. At every turn, the Bluetti consultant(s) were clear, professional, direct and understood my situation without me having to teach a salesperson how to do their job or handle the financial part of my transaction.
I have the apex 300 I use it at my cabin and I’m very pleased with how long it lasts without having to change up with my generator
Hopefully I will expand my system up so no generator is needed
I bought my first Bluetti AC 70 about a year ago. I have used it for home backup, but it was not enough to power my freezer. During a recent power outage, I decided I needed another one to power the freezer, so I bought an Elite 100 V2. It powers the freezer alone for about 9 hours and can even run my 1952 Philco fridge, but probably for less time. I used power lifting mode to kickstart the motor in both cases.
Just placed my order for a brand new Bluetti Elite 400 Portable Power station. I am so excited! I have heard very positive comments from several people who have purchased this product. I cannot wait to receive it. It will be a game changer for life at the cabin. A much needed improvement in power source. I have been very satisfied with how my Bluetti product has performed during power outages and other portable power situations. I like the fact that I can have the use of multiple lights during power outages while using my AC70, and still have the backup power and outlets to charge things such as my cellphone, MP3 player, portable speakers, laptop, and medical devices. With the AC70, I like the fact that I don't have to charge the device or worry about lost power during a three-month period of non-use. The charging is fast, and the devise does not have an overpowering sounds that would be distracting. The company has been very well to work with and I have had nothing but great customer support and can find the necessary wattage and power output information. Thank you Bluetti.
It didn't even arrive yet before they sent me the survey!
Though they sent me a customer satisfaction survey of theirs two days early the line of questioning included how did I enjoy my purchase? It hadn't even shipped yet. So I would have enjoyed it more had it actually been in my hands. But it arrived last night in the pouring rain.
It was at 34% when I plugged it on. If they did a regular top-off charge on all stock models, it should have had a number closer to 100% than the actual low 30's I received.
This is my 2nd purchase of a Bluetti. My first came from Amazon - bought on Amazon was their 600W unit. When that one arrived it started at 87%. So it wasn't as old stock like this one was. Since plugging it in to charge, from their unusually thick and shielded IEC C13 to Nema 5-15P power cable. The same type used as a power cable for Desktop and many Adapter blocks for Laptops and printers. It only registered in at 600W input and not the 1440W they claimed it would be from plugging in from a wall outlet.
So doing mental math of 600W at 34% gave me an idea of how long it would take to charge to full. After an hour I checked it and to my surprise it was 100% or claimed to be. The numbers don't add up - a 600W input at 34% should have taken at least two hours to complete. So now I will drain it and do a full charge to see if at least their meter is correct or poorly calibrated as I suspect - considering it is old stock!
The item hasn't even shipped yet but I got the prompt to rate them and do a survey for their services which I thought was premature considering it hasn't even left their warehouses for them to be asking me how am I enjoying my purchase. Well honeys I would enjoy it more if it were actually in my hands than in yours!
But this is my 2nd purchase. My first was off Amazon and I never once got prompted to do a survey or got an email thanking me for my purchase from that previous model. I got the 600W version before and it was to be a temp solution as a battery backup to keep a computer system up and running. But as it turns out their capacity of the 600W does work but it couldn't power my system for more than twenty minutes. So basically just enough time to save and exit out of my work before powering down.
Plus with their 5-yr warranty I did not know LiP0m5 batteries needed a top-up charge every 3-4 months. Because I charged it to full and put it away for storage thinking it would be fine for the next few years. My bad. I didn't know and after pulling it out after 2 years in storage, it was deader than dead. Oops. So now I know to do a top-up charge just like LiON batteries.
P.S. I purchased their 1800W/2700W Elite 100 v2 system this time during their time limited sale!
The Elite line are the best for extended blackouts
My 2nd power storage unit is an Elite 300. Most storage capacity I can get in a unit I can lift. Their Elite line are all the most efficient of every brand and model I’ve looked at - which is essential to have in extended blackouts. Excellent solar input features as well, especially for the Elite 100. When these go on sale, the decision makes itself. I just wish I could supplement my Elite 100 and 300 with batteries.
Bluetti is the best value. After researching for a couple of months, I decided to go with Bluetti over the competition for two main reasons. First, Bluetti is the only brand rated for 6,000 cycles, while its competitors are rated for only 4,000 cycles. Second, the Elite 200 has four fans, where as competing models only have one or two.
It’s one of the most trusted brands, offers great sale prices, and has the best specs for the money. I’ve been using three of their power stations, and I couldn’t be happier. With up to 1,000 watts of solar, I never run out of energy. It works with 99% of my appliances and gadgets.
One day, I plan to buy the Bluetti Apex 300 for my washer and dryer.
