Bodor Laser

My worst experience to date.

Dear all, We were initially impressed with the images of the machine for sale and proceeded to purchase a fibre laser machine from Bodor. They stated it would be ready to ship within 6 weeks of order and we took out trade assurance with Alibaba and agreed shipping to our factory. As it stands the laser was shipped nearly 3 months late, and they lied to Alibaba trade assurance when we attempted to cancel as a result, stating they had always said it could take 6 months to ship despite me providing the sales proposal that stated 6 weeks. Finally the item arrived and it was badly damaged in transport. It had not been packaged very well in my opinion, there was nothing to stop the laser from moving around in the shipping containers if the 4 cables around each foot broke and no braces or buffer material. Since notifying Bodor of this they have made it difficult to achieve anything at all, constantly stating we must deal with the insurance, despite the insurance making it clear it was not packaged correctly. Bodor have not supplied replacement parts now nearly a month since being notified of the damage. They have not supplied the engineer, or even booked him to travel to us that was paid for as part of the deal to help install and train us on the machine. They have also not arranged an engineer to come and repair the damaged machine. Bodor do not seem concerned that this is a precision machine and given so much impact damage to the machine, surely internal parts may also be damaged or may at least fail early. This company even told me my parts were in a country next to us, and would be delivered shortly. Even though they had not left China. Of course I am happy to revise my review should they eventually decide to care.. But I suspect this is going to end up as a nightmare mess. I would never order from Bodor again, and It is greatly unfortunate that this company has tarnished my view of dealing with a Chinese company again. So we're going to be at least 4-5 months late having our laser machine running, and I have massive worries if anything ever breaks again, we will be down for half a year waiting for parts. Without any question, this is the worst buying experience I've ever had from any company. Despite it being a very expensive purchase. In my opinion Bodor seem to be mostly sales staff, with a few poor people running around trying to pickup the pieces, with nobody actually caring about supplying anything that works or resolving the problem. We will now leave this in the hands of Alibaba Trade assurance and see if that's actually going to do what it says it should. As an update: We have now received the "replacement parts" and it has hardly any of the parts required to repair the machine, and still no update at all on anyone to come and fix it. I can't imagine getting parts when the machine breaks down would be any easier. -------------- Update 23/11/2017 Many months have passed and Bodor have still not supplied compensation or replacement parts. They have sent a engineer over (that we paid for in the contract) who has bodged it together so it can be used. But there are still a huge number of faulty parts that are a worry regarding premature failure, along with all the cosmetic case parts and safety door is broken. Getting nowhere, I can't imagine what it would be like if I needed a part from Bodor to fix the machine in the future if they can't even repair a machine that arrived damaged in the same year! Update 21/03/2018. ---------------------------------------------------------- Bodor Have supplied a reply and update saying my review is false and malicious, it is not. They say they can't find my details which just makes them look even more ridiculous in my opinion. To confirm, we STILL DO NOT have the replacement parts for our delivered damaged laser, It is beyond a joke can you imagine if you needed to buy a replacement part or obtain a warranty part? No compensation has been offered either. The insurance they bought (not us) they have said I have to deal with and are suggesting initially it was not packaged correctly so may not be insured, although they have not yet refused any claim.
