Absolute rubbish quality! Bought 3 jumpers for Xmas gifts, wouldn’t even give them to a charity shop. It would be an insult.

Pity I didn't read the reviews for this company. I've just had the same experiences: sandals too small, and an incorrect size sent. To replace the incorrect size, I was told the shipping fee was $US20 BUT I had to re-order the sandals, supposedly because there was no way to invoice me for the shipping costs. On that order, 4526, shipping was $US6.99! I tried to cancel, too late, already shipped. I haven't opened the package or checked return shipping (only received sandals Thurs 8 Feb 24) I will do so as soon as possible. Given my requests for a refund, and after reading the reviews, I doubt I shall get a refund for the cost of the sandals, $US34.99, I originally paid on their invoice 4272, of 6 Jan 24.
Keep sending wrong sizes
I ordered a size 12 shoe. It arrived many days later. All my shoes are size 12. Their size 12 is too tight. I contacted Support and said I wanted a size 13. For a $20 shipping charge, they sent me a size 12.5. I told them they made an error and the response was the same. Send us $20 and we'll send you the correct size. The entire Product Description is so phony. This is pure Chinese junk. Their entire website is a Chinese scam site. They really bury the Return Policy and make it generic. I learned my lesson.

The shoes looked very good as viewed online, and they stated were made of Leather!! There was a special deal for purchase of 2 pairs so I ordered 2 pairs and was prepared to wait the 3 weeks delivery!! Eventually received my order to complete disappointment! Arch supports were just pieces of polypropylene,the supposed uppers were Faux Leather, Very flimsy heel support, Very poor quality. I asked to return because of poor quality, eventually was asked for $30 postage or accept 50% refund if I kept the shoes. Decided to accept the refund and kept the shoes. 5 weeks later still no refund, and also no correspondence from Carllo. Avoid this Company!!

Same as John. I have already had a correct order delivered and was so impressed with the shoes that I ordered another 2 pairs. However they sent the wrong sizes this time, so I am in correspondence to have a correct sized order sent They have asked for a $20 donation to pay for the re-shipping fee (the second order was free due to the size of the order), they say returns costs are too high- which I am discussing due to fault ownership. I don't think this is a scam - rather providing world-wide service is costly and, being new to this type of trading, they need to upgrade their returns procedure to minimise costs.

I placed an order with this company online on December 7th and it’s 12 days later and I have not received the order or even had a notice that it has shipped. Terrible customer service. The emails that I have sent to Carllo Shop Support are not even answered.
Avoid These Ripoff Merchants
This company is a scam. They take your money and send you a bunch of incorrectly sized shoes and then refuse to refund unless you pay return at a cost higher than the shoes and then try to make you pay another $20 to get the correct size if you don’t return. Complained through PayPal who don’t try to resolve just say the same. Under Australian Consumer law if goods are not as described or not fit for purpose the seller is required to refund the return cost. Will complain to ACCC and see what happens
It's a scam
Disgusting company. Ordered shoes which quality wise were nowhere close to advertised and sized at least 4 sizes too small. Contacted the company who said for another $20 they'd sort their problem out, then they won't communicate further They're based in China, not a husband and wife working from their rustic farmhouse as the website says. Looks like a scam to me, avoid. Thank heavens for PayPal protection.

This company advertised a lovely looking dress shoe made of leather with impressive orthopaedic qualities. I contacted them a number of times after the order to explain the sizing needed to be European and not American. Eventually they replied with one word. That was OK. I thought that was odd so looked at the reviews on here where my suspicions were confirmed. About 8-10 days later I received the shoes. They came in a plastic bag without any paperwork. The back of the shoes were bent and creased from handling. The shoes are not leather, they are man made material and unbelievably cheap looking. You would pay a tenner for them in a cheap shoe shop. They look like a very cheap pair of trainers. They are obviously not breathable and have no orthopaedic benefit at all. I know from other reviews that there is purposefully off putting reasons not to bother sending them back. I have put it down to experience and resolve to use trust pilot more often and to write this review to put others off. Don't buy folks. It is a scam.

If I could award zero points I would. I also ordered a pair of shoes described as being made in the USA, made of leather and fitted with a high end orthotic insole. Naturally I now know these claims to be FALSE. The shoes that arrived were too large and were nothing like I was expecting. My complaint initially went unanswered but finally they advised that I could buy a second pair for 20US$ and I could keep the original pair. This was unacceptable so I submitted a claim via PayPal. The upshot of this is that I could get a refund but had to sent the shoes back..This I did, at a cost of £13.01, despatched through EVRI (previously Hermes). That was a month ago and the tracking shows the shoes are still in transit. I have virtually written off the money I have lost but feel strongly that there should be greater protection, for consumers, from companies like this. I would advise all complaints be channelled through Trading Standards and even the Advertising Standards Authority.

BEWARE DO NOT USE STAY AWAY My husband bought so called leather shoes, the biggest load of trash he’s ever bought, cheap pvc tat. Have tried what seems like dozens of times to get our money back, they just offer percentages, even though what they sent bears no resemblance to what was sent. And on top of that they will not pay postage. I have even told them how my health has landed me at hospital with stress and anxiety-blood pressure eg 223/120, still they do nothing. I ordered the shoes from Carllo, checking that the company Carllo was in the UK. I was not thorough enough! I realised that when checking the postage and Chinese appeared on the screen. Eventually they arrived but were not of an acceptable size/quality so asked for a return address and refund. Then was informed that return would be at my cost and costly and given an offer of a further pair for a reduced price! Nowhere in their returns policy is it stated that the return will be to somewhere outside the UK. DO NOT use this company and read all the other reviews the shoes I received were not leather as implied in the original advert.
Carllo rip-off
When I ordered my shoes, they gave me a discount, which was great. But, the size of the shoe changed! I quickly noticed this when they said ‘We have received your order’. So I emailed them back within minutes, telling them the size was wrong, but I heard nothing from them, I emailed them a further 4 times, still with no response. This carried on every day, I did get a response finally, 3 days later saying your order has been despatched. When they finally arrived in a plastic bag, they were the wrong size and were very cheap looking, definitely not leather. I emailed them back and they said it would be to expensive to return, you can keep them and we will 30% of the cost back. I told them I want a full refund, they refuse to respond.
Carllo shoes ripoff
Ordered 1 pair of brown leather shoes size 9 at the cost of £34 with postage, they arrived 10 days later, the photos on a very professional looking online shop made them look very good value, they are definitely not!! firstly the wrong size was sent, second the sole is so thin you would not be able to wear them outside, more like a pair of cheap carpet slippers, emailed and was offered 20% discount and keep the shoes that don’t fit as they said it would be to expensive to return so I checked with Royal Mail and the cost would be £19.60 tracked not cheap as they only weighed 650grams with packaging. I have decided to give them to the local charity shop and put it down to experience and my own stupidity in thinking I was getting a bargain.
Beware
First, it took over a month to receive my order. The shoes that I ordered were loose in a ripped bag that looked like it got stuck in a conveyor belt during shipping. The white soles of the shoes had black rubber marks on them from sticking out through the holes in the bag. Secondly, I purchased the shoes as a gift for my wife and they were a size too small. They were a European size and not US. When I contacted customer service, they said I could return the shoes but shipping cost would be high and it could take several months. They suggested that I keep them; order and pay for another pair and they would refund the difference. Difference between what? I’m already out $38. I’ve contacted them regularly for the last 2 months and it’s always something new. They said they would send me a new pair for free if I have them the model number, color and size. I did that but they reneged on that offer and said they had technical issues and had to shut down their site. I’ve had enough of them. I’m hoping I can warn others to steer clear of Carllo.shop.
