I cannot thank WILLIAM enough for being my guide in Chongqing. He was kind and thoughtful. I had some physical issues and he took care of me, making sure that I got enough rest and ate well. I highly recommend WILLIAM as a guide.
Our tour guide Henry was a really lovely guy and very charming. He took some great photos of us and even got us to pose for some of them. He had a very relaxed style which we liked and also gave us plenty of space to wander at our leisure. Henry was very knowledgable about the places we visited (Tiananmen Sq. Temple of Heaven, Peoples Palace and the Great Wall of China).

From the very start, they were so cheerful, welcoming, and had a wonderful, bright smile that put everyone at ease.What stood out the most was how attentive they were to our needs. They went above and beyond—even insisting on picking us up after our theatre show to make sure we got back safely and comfortably.If you are visiting Chongqing, you definitely want Kiki as your guide. Today was another packed , seamless day visiting the Terracotta Army, enjoying foot massage, watching the Silk Road show, and even trying on Emperor/ Empress Costplay. We had two wonderful days in Xi‘an. Our guide Phoenix (Ran) was very smart. It was a great pleasure to listen her detailed explanations. Our driver Chen Zhen Bo did s very good job. He drove very carefully and considerably.
Linda was so helpful in arranging our trip to the Summer Palace and Great Wall very quickly as we wanted to go in 2 days. She was wonderful to work also in talking to hotel staff to assist us with the plans. Our guide Tony was very friendly and engaging. He had a good understanding of the sites we went to and made the day very enjoyable. We went at the pace we wanted to abs did not feel rushed at any point. It was an amazing day.
Crystal made our time in Xi'an absolutely perfect. It was personalised, informative, relaxed and flexible and her English is very impressive. Going to her mother's home and making dumplings was such a highlight. My friend had a small medical emergency and Crystal handled it quickly and easily. Crystal took care of us from dawn to dusk and was always available to help even during the evenings after the tour had finished. My best advice it to ask for Crystal to be your tour guide in Xi’an.
We just finished a trip to Xi’an, and Shirley was an outstanding guide. Not only did she deliver everything we had asked for, but she was also incredibly flexible when we made some last-minute changes to our itinerary. What really stood out was how well Shirley handled difficult situations. Xi’an can be extremely busy during the summer, with large crowds, changing logistics, and plenty of commotion, but she was fierce when she needed to be while always remaining professional and composed. It was reassuring to know we had someone advocating for us and making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She was organized, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience. Having Shirley with us allowed us to enjoy Xi’an without having to worry about all the little details behind the scenes. We are especially thankful to him for taking us to the fan-drawing event near Yangshuo — definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. In Chengdu, Leah showed deep knowledge of everything panda-related and more. She made a smart choice about the timing of our visit to the Panda Center, and which entrance to use, so we could see the baby pandas before it got too hot and avoid the bigger crowds. In Xi'an, Eric (王可) was wonderfully enthusiastic, and it was a pleasure to satisfy his curiosity about Portugal. We are also grateful to him for inviting us into his home to make dumplings with his mother — that was truly an endearing experience. In Beijing, we were lucky to have Ford as our guide; he was so knowledgeable about the history of imperial China that our visits to the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace felt like a true history lesson. We wholeheartedly recommend China Culture Tour to anyone planning a trip to China — their service made our holiday truly unforgettable.
We had an amazing trip to Xi’an with Annie as our tour guide. She was informative and helpful with our schedule and adjusting as we needed. She is passionate about her job and happy to show us everything and answer all of our questions.
