The gentleman who picked us up from the airport was very helpful and welcoming as well, and our driver was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our tour in Beijing. I booked a three-day tour of Lhasa and the surrounding area, including Yungbulakang Palace. They handled all the paperwork and managed to fit in more places than I had originally planned to visit, without making the tour feel rushed while still keeping it flexible. My guide, Phuntsok, was very knowledgeable and easygoing. I would definitely recommend them.
We were a group of 4 which included my elderly parents and our wish was to see Beijing, ZhangJiajie, Chongqing and Xi’an over 4 weeks. I had not used a local tour company before and I was a little worried before we arrived but we didn’t have to be. They arranged the itinerary which included hotels, hi speed rail tickets and tickets for the sites which mostly are required in advance with your passport including places which are free admission. We were met by our guide and driver in each location and they looked after us very well. The guides were informative, friendly, polite and professional and we all learnt so much and enjoyed every place we visited. The cars were air conditioned, clean and comfortable. It was tailored for us and I would highly recommend their service if you want a stress free holiday. We do not usually use guides on our holidays but it’s needed in China as English is not widely spoken or written. I would use them again.
Booking with a tour company in China you have never heard of is a risky business but they were absolutely fantastic. I cannot fault them at all. Everything was super efficiently organised from booking our international and domestic flights, the train tickets, the local tour guides who were flexible and knowledgeable with a very good English, great hotels and a fabulous programme. I can highly recommend this company.
We've had an amazing holiday in China. Beijing, lovely hotel was excellent, 5 * Sun world Dynasty guide Jason and driver Andy were brilliant. Gubei water town is beautiful and a must. Luoyang was next,loved this place, thoroughly enjoyed the square in the evening, everyone out doing Tai Chi, and exercising. Peony Plaza hotel hotel dated but nice and clean. Next Xi'an stayed near the Drum tower. Hotel was Eastern house Boutique hotel, which had a candy floss machine in the lobby. Next was Chengdu guide Keeley fantastic and driver Mr Shu was great. Pandas are a must, and we had Panda cam opersite out hotel which was 4* Tianfu sunshine hotel. Last stop was Chongqing, Pagoda hotel, excellent room, great view of Yangtze river and the light show at night was awesome .Whole trip was 19 days this was our second time in China, absolutely love china. Hannah was exceptional very polite and courteous, she organised a wonderful trip for us. We will definitely use Top China travel again!

Friendly tour guides. Truly a full-service tour company. We had a wonderful time. Reasonable cost. Will not hesitate to book with TCT again.
This was my fourth trip to China, and once again I chose Top China Travel for my Chongqing tour. Their service continues to impress me. I coordinated the trip with Lily, our tour coordinator, who was responsive, efficient, and reliable throughout the planning process. Any hiccups that arose were resolved quickly and professionally, giving us great peace of mind. For our group of seven in Chongqing, we were fortunate to have Michel as our guide. He was professional, knowledgeable about the city's history and culture, an excellent storyteller, and spoke fluent English. His friendly personality made the tour both informative and enjoyable. Our driver, Mr. Song, was safe, courteous, patient, and always helpful. Michel and Mr. Song worked very well together to ensure our trip ran smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed our Chongqing experience and would not hesitate to recommend Top China Travel to anyone planning a trip to China.
I went to Beijing and Shanghai. The guides both meet me at the airport and the train station. I was able to explore as much as possible both cities despite my limited days in the country. I was able to customize my trip with my particular constraints
This was the most hassle free experience. From the airport pickup to the seem less transition from hotel check in and check out . 100 percent recommended. Our tour guide in Beijing (Jenny ) was amazing .
We booked an eighteen day small group tour for four people to Shanghai,Beijing, Xian, Chengdu, Guilin and Hong Kong. TCT made all flight,rail, transfer, tour and hotel bookings. Everything was well organised, our drivers and guides were great and most hotels good. The itinerary was perfect and flexible. We were a little anxious about booking with a company we had not heard of before but are so pleased we did. We highly recommend them.

I’ve been communicating with Sophie from Top China Travel. Initially communication was ok then I was waiting for a revised itinerary so I could proceed to book and got completely ghosted. Blue tick whatsapp messages with no reply and multiple emails ignored. Very poor service! Seems like they only interested in American and European clientele as that is what I was initially told ! Very disappointing and discriminating.

It takes a lot of back and forth to customise a trip and Elsa was very prompt to answer or accommodate my requests. I am extremely grateful that Elsa has supported my solo journey to China and I hope I will have Elsa to help me plan other trips in different parts of China in the future. TCT provided top class service of organizing a memorable trip for my Family to Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen and Guangzhou in January 2026. The tour involved receiving and sending us off, plus China interval travels of train and plane. All worked out like clockworks. It is difficult to fault the organizing ability and efficiency of TCT. Any queries were often responded with such promptness that , at times, I wondered if I was dealing with an AI machine. For those, who are hesitant about travelling to China for fear of different cultures, languages, payment system and internet restrictions, TCT have all the answers.
