I ordered a costume for Halloween on October 3rd. I paid the extra expedited shipping fee. It took multiple emails and 20 plus days to finally hear that they would not be able to get my daughter’s costume to us on time. Horrible experience!
I placed my order around September 12th and saw that the expected shipping date was 7-12 business days. ordering from other places before, i figured this was when the costume was actually finished rather than when the order was placed, which ended up being correct. Their communication is REALLY bad, I asked about a week or so later when it was estimated to be done since i only got the order confirmation and nothing else, and they said anytime between the end of the month to mid october. Mid october came, and nothing showed up. not even an update. I emailed them again asking when it would come in and got no response. I was going to call pay pal and my bank to get a refund (since i saw this website and assumed it was a scam) but then a few days later i got a notification saying it was shipped and would arrive in a few days. I had never heard of the delivery service they used, so i was still a bit skeptical. but i waited and it ended up showing up on my door step at 9pm a few days later. the costume looks and feels amazing and is great quality (Flynn Rider), and overall i'm satisfied with the end product. It's not a scam, but they have crappy customer service and unorganized business practices.
I have been waiting for weeks for something they say shipped however they will not answer any of my emails. Buyer beware dont buy from this company.
DON’T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY TOOK A MONTH TO SHIP SOMETHING THAT SAID IT WOULD ARRIVE IN 7-15 DAYS & THEN STILL SHIPPED IT EVEN THOUGH I ASKED FOR A REFUND INSTEAD! I ASKED FOR A REFUND SINCE MINE WON’T BE HERE BY HALLOWEEN AND THEY HAVE BEEN IGNORING ALL OF MY EMAILS EVEN THO THEY CLAIM THEY’LL GIVE YOU A REFUND IF IT WON’T MAKE IT BY HALLOWEEN. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRID AND THE ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
This place is a scam. Everything that you are reading from bad reviews is true. Wasted $377 on several costumes. Working with paypal now for a refund.
Do not order from cossky. They are out of China, lack communication, in fact they ignore you, and they don't expedite shipping when you pay $40 for expedited shipping. I ordered a costume 3 weeks ago, it never arrived. Multiple emails to cossky, no response.
Complete SCAM! All the Scam reviews are correct. Wish I would have seen this before buying. I will be disputing the charges. Showed up on bank statement as daiendi INTERNET. DO NOT BUY!
ZERO STARS! We ordered a Loki costume from the website after carefully reading the FAQs to make sure we had PLENTY of time for shipping. It has been 2 months since we placed our order and it HASN'T EVEN BEEN SHIPPED. I reached out several times to the customer service. They have assured me that “It will ship by the end of the month” when I asked in September. “If it hasn’t shipped by 10/18, email us” when I asked in early October. “If you need by Halloween, pick another item. We still need time to process” when I asked in the 18th. In the FAQs it says that processing time is 10-15 days or 20-25 days under high volume times. If they need 63+ days to process orders, they need to update the FAQs. We never would have ordered from here if we knew it wouldn’t make it in time. The customer service people will give you the runaround long enough to keep you on the hook so you will have hope the item will actually make it in time. If they would have told me at first inquiry that it wouldn’t be here, we would have gotten it elsewhere. So frustrating. DON’T ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a Sylvie costume from a different but similar website ON THE SAME DAY, and I’ve had that for probably 6 weeks now.
I placed an order over 3 weeks ago and it never arrived. when trying to find out more about the tracking information it appeared to be in transit at a facility very close by my house...well, its all a scam because a friend of mine ordered from another state and sure enough he never got his package and when looking at the tracking information, it appeared at a facility very close to his house. DO NOT waste your money, time with this company.
Don't believe any 5 Star Reviews on here. I talked to Paypal and they specifically said this website is fraudulent. I had an order with tracking that never moved for a month. Just stay away from them!
I ordered 3 costumes on 9/29/21… I received an email that all 3 were shipped 4 days later. I emailed them asking why it hasn’t been received because the status showed it was in Brentwood NY, and someone actually responded days later saying that only one of my costumes was shipped and the others are being produced! I never received any responses to my cancel request or if it would make it one time for Halloween. Do order from this site!
Do Not Purchase From Cossky I purchased a Leia (hoth costume) in early September. I received a message from cossky on oct 18th saying it will not arrive by Halloween when I was promised it would only take 10 business days to ship. I wish I would have seen this review sites before ordering. Never getting that money back I guess! Lesson learned,
This is an updated review. It was a one star and I changed it to a two star. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE IF YOU NEED YOUR ORDER WITHIN 2.5 MONTHS!!!! The customer service is horrible because they have no idea when the items will be shipped. They will let you know that everything is “on production.” And when you ask for a refund, they go radio silence!!! I mean that! You won’t get any answer whatsoever! I ordered an Ahsoka Tano costume and headpiece on 8/21/21, FINALLY arrived on 10/29/21!!! That’s more than 2 months! Paid for the express 3-5 days shipping for them too. All and all, not a good experience with everything hanging in the air, not sure if I was ever going to receive my orders. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
DONT BUY FROM COSSKY ## UPDATE ## Oct 26. 2021 I need to be fair. Cossky reached out and admitted they could not fulfill my order in time and finally refunded my purchase. In that way they are no longer scammers. A prompter response and refund resolution (rather than back and forth for 2 weeks) would have been better. In the end I didnt get the costume in time for my needed event and got from another vendor. After much frustration, they refunded my purchase. At least they had the integrity to do so. You decide if it is worth the trouble ordering from them. I change my review from zero star to two stars. This company does not honor its 7-12 days shipping from purchase policy. They do not respond promptly. Will not offer you a refund even though it is their fault for not shipping on time and rendering my purchase useless. They will punish the customer for THEIR OWN FAILURE and not have the integrity to refund the purchase so that I can get the costume I need in time from another seller. I would give zero stars and wipe this company off the face of the earth if I could. I don't know if I am ever going to receive the costume and I've already considered myself scammed. DONT BUY FROM COSSKY
I ordered my costume September 24th. It said 7-12 business days. It has been 12 business days and it still says order confirmed, like it hasn’t shipped out. Emailed customer support. No answer. Will be contacting my bank and the BBB.
I never write reviews but felt like I should to help warn people: I placed an order on September 18, for a Halloween costume. I ordered it in advance knowing it said 7-15 business days to process, plus 10-25 days for shipping. After 18 days I contacted them TWICE as it was way past the said processing time. NO RESPONSE. I finally reported fraud to my credit card company – because of that finally Cossky responded to me: saying that it’ll still be another 7 days for my item to be shipped. I’m pretty sure this is a SCAM to try to get you to pay $40 for “faster shipping” and another $45 to “rush” your order, even though I set aside lots of time. This has to be some sweatshop in China and the reviews on the website are all fake.
My experience is Exactly like what some of reviewers said before. I ordered my vegeta costume on September 18th. Got a tracking number and a location 4 days later. The costume is supposedly in New York. It has not moved since September 22nd. I am slightly angered since I ordered it so much in advance. I have contacted customer support and have demanded a refund. Going to call my credit company and see what they can do.
Ordered two costumes September 30th. Received an email stating shipment was on the way Oct 2nd. False tracking number included in email, but didn't know this at the time. Received a second email Oct 12th stating one of the costume that was supposedly shipped ten days earlier is not available and asking if I'd like another. Initiating refund through Paypal. Side note: Always use Paypal if available, and never click tracking number links in emails. Copy the number and go to the carrier and enter the number there.
I haven’t received my package yet, but it’s been sitting in the exact same place for 11 days. I reached out to the company and there exact words were “ Your order is in transit, it will arrive soon, don’t worry” didn’t give me any new or helpful information and brushed me off. Super unprofessional. I hope my costume will arrive in time for Halloween considering I ordered it 32 days in advance and it said it would be 7-10 ish days. I hope the costume is quality and fits. But I really did not appreciate being blown off by “don’t worry” it’s borderline rude. I did my research but I’m coming to realize the reviews must’ve been fake. Super disappointed hope they can turn it around
I ordered a Star Wars Rey Costume on September 22nd for Halloween. On the 23rd they said it had been shipped and sent me a fake tracking number. When I clicked on it, it said it's already in New York and waiting to be picked up by USPS which I though was strange since I knew it was coming from overseas. So now it has been 3 weeks meanwhile shipping was supposed to be 6-12 days. I have not received the costume and when I click on the tracking number, it still says the same exact thing. No updates since the 23rd. ALL A FAKE SCAM. So I emailed them to cancel and they responded that they are sorry and the parcel has arrived locally and they will contact their logistics company to expedite the delivery and to have a nice day. So I responded that if it's not here within the next 2 days, I am disputing the charge with PayPal and filing a complaint. The costume is probably sitting on one of those cargo barges off the coast of California if they even shipped it at all which I doubt. Really wish I had seen the real reviews on this website before ordering 😡😡
