For card subscriptions, transactions above INR 15,000 often require customers to manually approve each charge, which can lead to failures. Additionally, UPI Autopay involves multiple authorisation steps and is known to have higher drop-off rates during setup and execution. Because of these factors, India's payment success rates may not always match global averages. That said, they are still significantly better than what most merchants typically see with individual payment setups.
