We have a process when evaluating and determining an outcome for our customers and do our best to keep this process moving forward until resolved. Your claim has been escalated within our team for review. First American Home Warranty (First American) has reviewed the consumer's claim. First American's record indicate the consumer placed a claim online on July 15, 2026, indicating their air conditioner was blowing warm air. First American dispatched the claim to independent contractor Thermo Heating and Cooling Services that same day. The consumer contacted First American the following day indicating the contractor had not contacted them to schedule an appointment. First American reached out to the contractor and requested they contact the homeowner to schedule. On July 18, 2026, because the contractor had not contacted the consumer, First American contacted other contractors to see if they were able to service the claim. Responses were delayed due to the week and on July 20, 2026, the consumer cancelled the claim and the service fee paid for the claim was refunded. On July 28, 2026, First American contacted the consumer via email and advised they could submit the diagnostic report from the contractor they hired outside the warranty contract and it would be reviewed to see if coverages could be applied.
