Overall review

The Sonoff products are reasonably priced, the philosophy approach gives user options for DIY projects but also seamless straight deployment and installation. Control app has limited options for automation also also does not log the history from the SNZB-02 temperature / humidity sensors. The documentation is sometimes lower quality and basic info harder to find. Some WIFI/ZigBee control unit for CCT LED stripes / RGB LED stripes would be nice one.

After having received a faulty product…

After having received a faulty product I contacted ITEAD and was dealing with Frankie Frankie was helpful in all my dealing and sorted out a replacements for only the shipping cost. I am currently awaiting delivery as this is a critical part of a large project This is the first time using sonoff but am very happy with the service. Should you need an agent in New Zealand and Australia I would be willing to represent your products and test and review for yourselves

The staff kept in touch with me to say they had received my order, then when it had been dispatched & when it was in transit Would definitely recommend this company Thank you very much

Good customer service matters when things go wrong

It's when things go wrong when you find out about good customer service. My order got lost somewhere in the last mile and I didn't receive my package. The local carrier's tracking information was confusing and contradicting. After contacting ITEAD customer service, they actively kept track of potential progress in the delivery status and kept me informed on that status. When they eventually concluded the package was not going to be delivered, a replacement was sent, which arrived swiftly. For keeping the initiative after my initial message, for spending the effort to keep me informed and for bringing this situation to a positive end, ITEAD gets my full marks.

Very happy with their products

I have seen some very bad reviews about Itead and i think its not fair. I am a hardcore smart home / automation enthusiast and have my home full of their sonoff devices. especially their zigbee range. their products are always cheap, durable and reliable. have CE and RoHS certifications. I have only bought directly from them a few times but had no problems. Packaging and customs charges, and time for delivery was acceptable.

Will never order again

Will never order again. Ordered around same time from ITEAD and Shelly. Shelly is being delivered to my home as we speak, while ITEAD haven't left the warehouse yet.

I have ordered two Nextion HMI display

I have ordered two Nextion HMI display. The tracking number was valid for a few days that suddenly expired. No information about the package, iTead does not follow the order.

they said on there website "ITEAD will choose the optimal one for your items from the special line and DHL shipping method to ship out" but yet they send the item using a very slow service provider !!!

ordered once, will never order again

I ordered from the company once before, it took more than a week to deliver (some weren't in stock so that's fine) but still didn't receive the refund I was supposed to get, and liking the products I wanted to get more and even maybe resell them, ordered couple hundred dollars worth of products, and send many messages, by mail, contact forms in the site, Facebook ... nothing was done and didn't even get a reply, at the end they shipped the products a month later (supposed to be with Dhl) so I paid for fast delivery to get my order delivered with the wrong products values, not even a reply so I can get a disount or something just lousy replies or a sorry

They sent me a faulty device, but there was no problem with the refund.

Customer service is down..

Well, it will be my first rating in English. So please forgive my mistakes. First of all my rating doesn’t concern the products. They are very good. I’m using them and very pleased. My rating concerns the customer service, delivery and transport. Very expensive, it’s 20% of the complete order as I asked a follow up, the delivery is not assured correctly. First of all, the popup window on Itead website is useless. The tracking number is not recognized. I asked twice, the web customer service, to have the follow up. One week between my demands, I was surprised that there was no evolution regarding my delivery. My delivery seems to be lost as more the 2 weeks since the last activity record “shipment has left the shipping country” or the day after this records 3 additional records are traced inside the airport. No information regarding the delivery in the “delivery country”. I was more surprised when the same guy from web customer service asked me to see with my local post office. Really? I paid a service that is not assured, no correct follow up and it’s up to me to see where my delivery is. I’m waiting them answer. But I’m very annoyed.
