We always make sure patients are fully informed about external referrals. Referrals are made typically if we believe a patient would benefit from the involvement of another non-blossom specialist, like a therapist or a substance-use counselor for example. 2. We are happy to receive your prior patient-records if you'd like to share those over email or upload them directly into your patient portal. 3. Our support team is absolutely staffed with real people. They do leverage tools & technology to help them to do their jobs better, but at the end of the day, there is always a human being in the loop looking after you. 4. Regarding prescriptions, we're happy to send Rx orders to your pharmacy of choice. Either let your provider know directly, or let our support team know and we can assist you from there.

Hi there - I looked into your case, and it turns out the $600 of patient deductible responsibility is correct (although the reason is nuanced, I'll explain below). You have a Highmark Western New York BCBS HMO-POS plan. In New York, Blossom is credentialed through Anthem New York BCBS. Normally, that would be no problem. A patient in Western NY can be treated by Blossom and billed in-network through the "blue card program". However, in your case, because you have a HMO-POS plan (instead of, say, a PPO plan), you do not have access to the blue card program. Instead, when you see a BCBS provider outside of Western New York, those visits are treated as out-of-network. The good news is that your OON deductible is $1000 for the year. So after you reach that, your per-visit cost will be significantly reduced. I know this isn't the news you wanted to hear, but it's unfortunately how the BCBS insurance system works today. It's convoluted and non-sensical, I know. I'm sorry about that 🌸

Nope. Trust is at the heart of what we do here at Blossom, and we are extremely mindful of our patients's privacy & data security, and our HIPAA obligations. We never ever expose any patient PII (personally identifiable information) and we have not done so here. If you, on the other hand, decide to release your own personally identifiable information about yourself, that is your decision. We certainly can't stop you from doing so. As a company, when someone leaves a misleading/false/inaccurate review, we have the right to stand up for ourselves. Especially when there are millions of other patients out there who are vulnerable seeking care who might happen upon a review, they deserve to know the truth about Blossom. We stand for making truly-excellent mental healthcare accessible and affordable for every single American who needs it. And we're proud of that.

There's no scam here. I looked into your case. 1. You were seeking FDA Schedule II controlled medications which can only be responsibly prescribed after certain clinical qualifications have been met (which you did not yet qualify for). 2. You no-showed an appointment, and were charged a no-show fee. Just as we respect your time, we ask our patients to respect the time of their providers. 3. There are tens of thousands of patients receiving excellent care from Blossom for a whole range of mental health conditions. That's not a scam. I'm sorry you weren't satisfied with our experience with Blossom, but if you'd still like to continue treatment, be assessed for your condition, and potentially be prescribed the medication you came seeking, we'd be happy to still help you. Hi Jeniya - again, I'm sorry for the frustration here. On our end, we literally have a stored video recording of your mother's provider sitting on zoom waiting for 10 minutes before logging off. And we've confirmed it's the correct Zoom meeting ID, the same as the one in the reminder emails we sent prior to the appointment. Not saying anyone did anything wrong here. Clicking the wrong link, or the link not opening up correctly on a browser - that does happen. Regardless. We've offered to make this right and waive and refund the no-show fee after attending your next visit.
