For those unsure about mecrob and their…
For those unsure about mecrob and their products I say go with them. I always do thorough research before purchases and I went with mecrob and I will say that their customer service is quite excellent in responding about inquiries. Their products/puzzles are extremely fun and rewarding. Easy to follow and helps put the mind at ease as well as anxiety. It is challenging but that’s the point and the end result looks awesome. Shipping does take about two weeks max but I did have a few come in early. You get your moneys worth the effort you put in. I’ve purchased ten products and was very satisfied. Very safe and efficient ordering from here.
Fast delivery
Fast delivery, product ok.
Like but requires dexterity
I want to love these puzzles but there are drawbacks. The pieces are very tiny, like the size of a pin head for some bolts. And don’t drop them as they are so small you may never find them. I also recommend getting a “helping hand” to help hold parts as being tiny they are difficult to juggle when trying to get that tiny bolt on a piece with multiple parts. That said, these are fun “puzzles”, that are not really a puzzle because you’re following directions and not really brain storming how to put them together. (Extremely mechanically inclined individuals can do modifications but be aware there are no extra parts.) And it would be helpful if the directions included an English version. Currently for English speakers you can follow most of the directions by using the diagrams as they are straightforward and can be figured out. All in all these are fun projects though do require an extra set of small holders like a helping hand that has clips to hold parts as you try to get the small bolts attached. I purchased 4 different versions and don’t regret doing so. (I would have purchased a fifth version because I love the look of them but the hippo was sold out.) It would also be great for a bigger version to be available. One that was twice as large or even bigger. Maybe a range of sizes using more readily available parts from a hardware store in case parts are lost. Or a “trove” of extra parts that you could purchase so you could do more modifications.

A step is missing from manual....
There is a step that is missing from the leg construction. The levels embedded in the legs don't show up until after everything is put together. Except for that, I enjoyed the build immensely and showed it my Facebook groups. Thank you.

The products came packaged extremely well and looked amazing! All the parts are quality and I haven't had any missing pieces yet! Unfortunately there was a missing tool, but I bought several kits so I had extras! The shipping took about a month, but it was definitely worth it!!

really tiny parts
The parts are really tiny so while it is fun to work on it is extremely tedious and time consuming.

Spider lamp build
Overall it was a fun build, however shipping takes up to month or more, unfortunately they only provided me with half the assembly tools, and the lights that are supposed to be in the eyes are not included in the build. The build is challenging but i'd say thats a good thing, certainly a feeling of accomplishment when completed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your overall experience building our kit. We're glad to hear it was an interesting build for you. But I apologize for the problems you encountered, the only tools we provide are the screwdriver and pliers, the other vacancy is just not there, and the battery we have made clear in the details is not included. Thank you for your support.
