I ordered a 6 pack of Butterflies, and found the designs to be varied enough that presenting them as gifts, yielded positive reviews. Creating them was a bit tricky, as my hands are a bit big for such precise work, but after buying a small pair of needle-nose pliers, constructing each, was very relaxing, and I appreciated the engineering. I'll be buying others, for certain.
This kit is really fun to make. A little frustrating as the instructions are in chinese. I was able to figure most of them out from the picture, but in one case sent a picture to support and had them translate it for me. On the tail of the scorpion, the pieces didn't fit and you had to expand them with the plier to make them to go together. Having a third hand would have been handy at multiple points. It was a little frustrating, but I'm really pleased with the result.
Would have loved to have received the package. I ordered in December and it’s now almost 2 months later and it’s still in a shipping status. I don’t understand why you would use ontrac, I get it may be cheaper but it’s horribly unreliable. I’d love a refund at this point
Hi, there We reported this issue to the logistics provider. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, and we will resend you a product. Please check your email later for further details.
High quality product and I always knew status of order. Very pleased.
I loved how it came out
Good price, easy ordering, fast delivery.
This product is top notch, and we'll packed with everything needed for completion. Even without being able to read the Asian writing, I was more than able to follow the instructions. All parts were presented well in individual and labeled packages. Everything went together as advertised, and was a challenging and rewarding build out. Finished product is quite a unique display piece !!
Excellent customer service!! Love the way the kit comes. The packaging is definitely 5 stars!! I haven’t started the kit yet but am SOOOO excited!!! Thanks for everything MECROB!
Fast shipping. Directons for assembly are easy to understand, Can't wait to get started!
The kits themselves were good. My major disappointment was the communication and the shipping. No update after 12 days of waiting. I had to email support for an update and got a USPS tracking number that said USPS hadn't received it yet. Saw or heard nothing else until the 4 kits showed up another 10 days later.
Very nice easy to assemble depending on the difficulty level.
We are in the assembly process now. There are only 2 complaints I have. 1. My daughter did NOT receive the small wrench but we were able the find something here that worked. 2. The battery size is no where to be found. So...well it just might light up.
Hi, there. The battery size is ag1. We usually configure a pair of pliers and a screwdriver for our products.
Fast shipping! This was a Christmas present and we received it on time.
The communication is a little slow especially if you are in a hurry. Customer service is good and they go above to fulfill and satisfy the orders. Products are exceptional and well worth the wait. Love this place and their products.
This was the favorite Christmas gift this year. :-)
Very pleased with shipping times and packaging. I was so worried that I would not receive before Christmas. It will be exciting to see my husband tinker with new toys!
This arrived and surpassed my expectations! I cannot wait to give it as a gift for christmas! I think they will be very surprised. Very cool!!
I purchased (4) items from Mecrob not knowing I could choose from easy to advanced skills. I have constructed 2 in the past 2 weeks and have the more difficult ones ahead (for Christmas gifts to my sons). These are amazing kits, very detailed and about take my breath away at how cool they are. I couldn't imagine them being better. They are off the chart cool. There are very small parts, so be aware that dexterity is important, along with some patience. At the same time, you are constructing a masterpiece, so look ahead at the end results. If you have the time and are willing to put in the effort you will NOT be disappointed at all. These went FAR BEYOND my expectations, and I'm a nit-picky person for quality (QA Manager by profession).
I have the robotic spider lamp kit. It's an ingenious design, and shipped promptly. The parts were well-labeled, and the assembly manual very detailed. What you won't learn until you receive a kit is that the parts are TINY, requiring the small and steady hands of a surgeon to actually put the thing together. Many steps require you to simultaneously manipulate anywhere from 4 to 7 pieces - many no more than a couple millimeters in size. You'll wish YOU had eight arms!
