We are truly sorry for the terrible shopping experience and the double taxation issue you have encountered with your order. We have completed a full investigation into your complaint and would like to clarify the root cause of this problem. At checkout, you have fully paid the Dutch VAT of €7.55 (21% NL btw), and we have officially declared this tax via the IOSS scheme. According to regulations, no additional customs VAT should be charged for your parcel. Unfortunately, our logistics partner SF Express failed to attach and transmit our valid IOSS number when generating the electronic customs declaration. As a result, the Dutch Customs could not verify your pre-paid VAT record and levied the VAT fee again on your shipment. This issue is caused by the carrier’s incorrect customs operation, rather than a system error on our Shopify store. We also sincerely apologize for our improper customer service in the early stage. Due to the lack of professional experience of our intern staff who handled your case, we provided you with incorrect information and judgment, which made your experience worse.
