The freemium tier plans must be refreshed every 30 days even if the 10 GB provided is not used up. Suspended means that the account will still work but your speed is limited and you cannot change servers. Please log into your account on our website and refresh your gigs to lift the suspended state and add another 30-day cycle with 10 GB of transfer.

It is expected that you will lose some speed when connecting to a VPN due to the fact that you are adding encryption and additional stops on the route to your destination. Make sure you are connecting to the server closest to your physical location for the best speed.
