Hi Siobionics,
I bought 2 of your devices and BOTH stopped working in 2 days with an error message.
I also had 1 device fail a few months ago.
Your products are not reliable and I will never use Siobionics again.
Total Waist of money
Initially, I thought this was a really good CMG as it gave more information than others I have used.. however, it failed on day 5, it came off, I then looked at the reviews and on trustpilot, and despair of getting any help . However, I emailed the support team., and got an answer within a couple of hours, a very friendly efficient request to send a proof of purchase and the sensor number, I then got a quick reply saying that they would either replace it or refund it . I requested a refund and it came through within 12 hours. So it was different experience to some of the reviews here
THE SENSOR WAS WORKING ONLY FOR TWO HOURS AND SIBIONICS TOLD ME I INSTALLED IT WRONG
Changed from Freestyle Libre 2 by which I was in general satisfied but wanted to see if I could get a more stable connection between the sensor and my phone. Sibionics sensor has very stable connection with the mobile phone. But only when it works! The first three sensors I installed worked great and I was excited by the brand. But then, everything fell apart. The needle of two consecutive sensors stuck in my arm and the sensors were not functioning. I contacted SIBIONICS by sending them all the requested photos as per their policy. The told me (after two days) that the installation was not done properly but they will replace one sensor in good will. One and a half week after, I received the replacement sensor and installed it. The sensor was working properly only to stop after two hours. A message was projected in the main screen of the application saying “device error”. There I realized that Sibionics sensors are problematic indeed and the brands is very aware of that so their customer service keeps a passive-aggressive attitude against the customers so that they won’t reaffirm their product’s bad quality. Of course, I contacted again the customer service by providing photos and screenshots only to be told that the problem was once again a “wrong installation”. THE SENSOR WAS WORKING ONLY FOR TWO HOURS AND SIBIONICS TOLD ME I INSTALLED IT WRONG. Now that I read identical experiences from other users I see that I am not an idiot as SIBIONICS implied. Such attitude towards people with disabilities is not accepted. Fraudsters and charlatans.
If I could give zero I would.
First monitor failed on day 6! I got given what was called a goodwill replacement! Which is a joke, to find the monitor failed again on day 6/7. I was then told I won’t be getting my replacement as per their policy.
They don’t have a telephone support. They won’t call me even though I provided my number. They told me it’s rare that it failed (basically implying it must be me!) but it didn’t take much searching to see all the reviews saying about the unreliable failing product.
This company is a scam and do not buy.
Hopefully a better CKM will come out from another company that has a better product and honest customer service.
My advice to anyone would be get a KetoMojo and mwsit for another CKM to come out/ this company is poor! Sadly, I wish there were good. But I’ll have to wait for another product from another company!
Levels very out even taking in lag. Had me at almost hypo level ( and going down) after a meal. Checked with glucose monitor which placed me in normal range. I’m not 24 hours in with this device yet so quite disappointed. Will give it a couple of more days then Back to the libre.
I used a fingerprick blood ketone monitor to compare with the CKM, and it is incredibly inaccurate. I asked for a refund but they did not give it to me.
I bought the CKM and then looked at reviews. I wish I had have looked at reviews first. This CKM is a novel idea, but readings are woefully inaccurate (compared to finger prick blood tests) to the point of almost being useless. You can see general trends (graph line going up and down as you would expect after meals), but I would ignore the actual reading you get as it won't be correct. Application of the device was fine, and the adhesive was still strong after 9 days when I took it off as the sensor stopped working. It is supposed to last 14 days, but it didn't even make it to 10. I hope they can continue to improve the accuracy and reliability of this product.
The company ships sensors that become deactivated after half a year. Their software isn't working properly, and they do nothing constructive to help customers to fix issues. Stay away from Sibionics if you like to interact with companies that care about their customers.
I have used several sensors and were ok. Last sensor broken after 3 days of wearing. The Sibionics support was terrible, they suggested palliative solutions trying to avoid a replacement.
300% lower then actual blood glucose to 200% higher.
First 2 of 4 sensors was faulty.
Extremely inacurate, can not really be used for anything. At first i thought it at least could be used to follow trends even if it was off. But then it showed anything from 300% lower then actual blood glucose to 200% higher.
Please be careful with their sensors. Do not buy.
Bad product... Reading always wrong.. I have diabetes and woke me up in the night because Blood sugar was low... Showed 58 but when I tested it with the fingerprint it showed 123. Sometimes it goes up and down for no reason... Will never buy again from them
Bought 3 sensors:
-Sensor no.1 stopped working after 3 days of use.
Complaint sent to customer service. After trillions of pics sent they promised replacement device; been 2 weeks still have not received it.
-Senor no.2 constantly showing BS to be 1.5 ABOVE. Have made several checks. Sibionics claiming their sensor have a 48 hour (!!) adaptation period. How does that sound to a diabetic? "Buy and use our products however after 48 hours you might have correct display"
Have made complaints about sensor no.2, we are currently on day 13 and Sibionics puts the blame on costumer. EVen thought costumer (me) is other wise a big fan of Libre 2 and very well acquainted with CGM's.
Let's not even enter their costumer care. For it is NON EXISTING hence I will not even review it.
What ever you do - do NOT spend your money on this product. Just don't!!
The carrier lost my product and they don't take responsibility.
Last answer I had: Dear Tatiane, I am sorry that this issue may not be solved as quickly as you expect. The logistics provider may need several weeks to solve this problem and we will keep this ticket open until we make the final decision.
My answer to them:
I would like to clarify that I am your client and did not select the logistics provider for my order. According to European law, you are responsible for the product I purchased from you. As such, I expect a prompt resolution regarding the lost parcel.
As Sibionics is my contracted supplier, it is your responsibility to ensure delivery. If the logistics provider has lost my parcel, I request that you either send me a replacement product or issue a full refund.
Please escalate this matter to your Distribution Director and the commercial team to expedite a resolution.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue.
Best regards,
Giving a update: Today, 04/10/2024 - 45 days after the purchasing and Nothing!! Neither product or refund!!
Sensor came of after 4 days. Spoke to Tiffany Ding from customer service and all you get is they put the blame on you. They say it is water proof and it fell of due to excessive sweating from the summer heat. Never again.
The sensor is totally inaccurate by on average 3 mmol/L so totally unfit for purpose. I compared it to my blood glucose blood meter and the sibionics consistently shows much lower readings than the meter.
The difference in measurements is significant and can lead to erroneous decisions in how to manage your diabetes.
Been using Sibionics CGM since couple of months, works pretty well when your blood sugar stable during the warm up phase. Apple Health integration would be nice and chart, alarm adjustment. Reporting is good and has a data export. So right now I export the data and then re-import it into Apple Health.
The app does still losses signal more often but then syncs the data back into the app, so this is ok.
I'm a big fan of their AGP report; it offers valuable insights into my past glucose levels. Glucose data updates every 5 minutes and perfectly aligns with my BGM data. Plus, it sends real-time hypo/hyper alerts.
We requested a refund after correctly returning the item, after more than 20 emails back and forth we still haven't received a refund and they even sent us an invoice instead. We requested a refund in December 2023.
