This program is great! It allows my students to choose different areas to work on. They never seem to get bored.

The sound for brain games is horrible, often very slow to run, the exercises not adjusted for the level

Great little app since it's update and playable on pupils iPad. Pupils enjoy it and work well on there, good support from company when required.

Overall I like the Skoolbo program, but sometimes the skills are way to easy for some students. My students enjoy doing the various activities.

Remember you can always select particular tasks for your class or individuals students to match areas you are covering or where you feel they need to focus. I like that Skoolbo tracks student progress and adjusts practice for the individual. I like that the teacher can push certain skills for the program to focus on. I am not sure about the recent changes since the update. There are some new parts that were added that I'm not exactly liking. It seems more complicated now. There are stories read to the students that are quiet lengthy and the students lose attention during the story.

With regard to the massive amount of new learning material, we added as part of the upgrade you can pick and choose as a teacher removing certain content if you feel that it doesn't fit your classroom environment or your student's attention spans and adding in what you need. When my children use the school computers they are not able to go past their name. The screen says "updating student profile". However it never moves beyond this. They have not been able to use Skoolbo so far this year. I had the same trouble last year when trying to add new children to my class. You are not rude. I am just frustrated and disappointed.
My students really enjoy Skoolbo. It is challenging for them and sometimes it moves a little fast for their processing skills. Overall, I love it because I can put them in an independent center and they can work at their own pace or during free time.
The new app has been less than seamless, initially it kept telling my students their password was wrong - it wasn't I was entering it, now it resets the device all the time so I have to enter the school code on at least 1/10 devices each day. Videos don't play on the iPad just gives my children a blank screen for long periods of time (they are 5 and wait until they run out of patience) - this is usually lessons (not activities), and then next time they try it randomly works. I've been a die hard Skoolbo user for many years - but I'm no longer convinced.

Kids love it and they can not wait to get on and check their score and how well they are doing.
While I am excited about using your product with my kindergarteners I have found it a bit glitchy. For example when in beginning mode the stories often freeze on the chrome books and they can't always figure out the directions when in the middle of a game the character does not seem to have many options and the game seems to appear to come to a stand still. For example they should be able to click and listen to the story when it comes to that part but then nothing happens when they do. Sometimes I can figure it out but when it is supposed to be an independent center and I am busy teaching a small group its frustrating to have to stop and then go try to trouble shoot the program. The kids do like it when its working but its still a bit of a so so for that reason.
We loved Skoolbo before the changes were made. Now we can't get it to load correctly on the iPads. When we registered, we were told that our subscription would always be free, but now when my kids log on, they get a message saying a subscription is required to access the reading or math area. This is all very disappointing because the old version was so engaging and such a great way for the kids to learn.
Students really enjoyed using the skoolbo application.
Often can't connect to the student dashboard. Often had network problem. Sucks!
the kids seem to like the puzzles. I like that there is now an option to turn off the lessons I don't want from the dashboard. We started with quite a good amount of access via their school accounts but that now seems very limited and we are being asked for a home subsrciption after very few questions so I have asked school to check they are still happy they are getting value for their school subscription as the teachers were unaware accress had changed.
My student love it they find it both challenging and fun.
Skoolbo is great. Skoolbo is a great resource AND it is Aussie developed. It has been wonderful to see it grow and prosper globally. Skoolbo offers me a great way to differentiate lessons for my students while providing them with an engaging format. I also love the teacher feedback - great data collection! Thank you so much for this great site.
