Hi Olli-Pekka, We’re sorry the earplug eventually came apart and understand your disappointment. However, as you mentioned, the product was purchased approximately five years ago, while its warranty period was one year. We were therefore unable to offer a free repair or replacement. Although we couldn’t provide a single replacement earplug, our support team offered a substantial 40% courtesy discount toward a complete new pair. We understand this wasn’t the outcome you hoped for, but we believe it was a fair goodwill solution given how far the product was outside its warranty period. You chose the return and later selected full store credit, which was issued without the return deduction. The subsequent Wave order was submitted with the previous address during checkout. Unfortunately, we only heard from you after it had already been delivered, so rerouting was no longer possible. Nevertheless, we offered a heavily discounted replacement, which was successfully delivered to your current address. We also do not screen or suppress reviews based on their rating.
