I purchased a sofa cover and when I received it… it looks NOTHING like the item depicted on the website. Cheap and horrible quality. I requested a refund and so far I’m getting the runaround from Sweaterpicks. There is no “sweater” in the item I received.
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Sweater Picks. Their website promises sofa covers made of “thick velvet plush fabric” that “shield against spills, stains, pet hair, and daily wear.” This is completely misleading. The fabric is not waterproof, not water resistant, and is entirely permeable. It offers no protection whatsoever—exactly the opposite of what is advertised. Upon receiving the products, I immediately saw that they do not meet expectations and attempted to initiate a return well within the stated 30-day return policy. Their own policy requires contacting them for a return authorization number and return address. However, despite several attempts: 1. I have only been given the runaround. 2. No return authorization number or confirmed return address has been provided. 3. Instead, I have repeatedly been offered only a partial refund that they claim will take 6–8 weeks. This is completely unacceptable. The products are unusable, do not match the advertised descriptions, and Sweater Picks is not honouring its own return policy. At this point, it feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid issuing refunds. I cannot recommend this company or their products to anyone. Save yourself the frustration—avoid Sweater Picks altogether.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY FALSEY ADVERTISE AS AMERICAN AND REFUSE TO HONOR THEIR RETURNED POLICY. I ordered sofa covers that are a complete joke, their customer service is trying to negotiate with me stating I bought a rug of which I did not and that their profit margin is low so they’d only offer me $20 instead of the $137.40 their refund policy “guarantees.”
I purchased 2 waterproof blanket covers and my dog had an accident on the couch. This product is NOT waterproof! It leaked through on the couch. When I reached out to this business the 24/7 customer service is somewhat sketchy. They asked for photos of the product. I already cleaned it up. They then stopped replying for several days. After sending 2 more messages they responded offering $32 For the cover that cost $169! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BUSINESS! They told me how expensive the production cost is and how their colleagues and customers give a high positive review. Lesson learned! I will never forget it! I suggest that everyone stay far away from Sweaterpicks and their falsely advertised products!!
BUYER BEWARE! I had buyer’s remorse after ordering a sofa cover and cancelled BEFORE IT WAS SHIPPED. Sweaterpicks then quickly mailed the product. When I contacted them they apologized and said they would send a return label, which they did not do. After several emails back and forth they offered only a credit or a 50% refund saying that they were taking a loss. The item is now selling for $49.99. Take your business elsewhere.
Bad quality, slow delivery! Photos on the website are misleading! Don’t be fooled by it. Trying to have you keep the trash products and refund you $15 for the products you paid for $89.
Poor quality products. The product doesn’t fit and looks cheap. Awful return experience. I’m about 10 emails deep and the company won’t honor a return. They keep asking me if I’m interested in other products. Obviously not. They said they’ll refund me $20 for a $89 product but I doubt I’ll ever receive it.
Absolutely horrible and awful quality. It did not fit at all. Sent so many emails asking for refund, and they confirm they had done it, but they actually never did it. Highly recommend you NOT TO BUY with this people. Nothing but scammers and thieves.
These are sooooo cheap & don't fit At All! Trying to work with customer service to get a refund, currently 5 emails deep with a run around. They've sent more links to other products. I just want my $ back!!
I ordered two sofa covers and was unhappy with the color or fit. I emailed support to get a return label, and they are being difficult. I was charged an international fee when I made the order, so the company is not located in the US. It is doubtful they will give me a refund. Do not order from this company.
Awful product. Broke after one month use
I purchased two waterproof slipcovers for 86 in sofas. I received two covers that were not waterproof and could not possibly fit an 86 in sofa. I emailed the 24/7 customer service and did not hear a response. I'm filing a complaint with the ASA and for fraudulent advertisement and sales. Do not order from this company
Ordered a couch cover and chase to go over the longated part of the couch and only got the main couch cover. Reached out to customer support. Was made to take several photos to prove I was telling the truth. I was given 2 choices: send it back to China get my money back but pay 30.00 in postage and go through it taking weeks to be returned or take 30.00 to keep. So I took 30.00 to keep. But I should have gotten all of my money back since they messed up the order. It wasn't like I wanted to return it because I didn't like it.
One star is way too many for this company!!!! Extremely poor customer service. False advertising as well. The sofa and chair covers I ordered were 0% waterproof which was the only reason I ordered them! Stay away from these thieves!!!! Just out to steal your hard earned money!!!!!
This company is horrible do not order from them. If they are even legit !! STAY AWAY!! I wish I could give them no stars. They don't deserve any!
Super unprofessional and just incompetent customer support
I ordered over $300.00 merchandise. I received a partial order and received an email that the order has been fulfilled. I sent two emails and never received a response. I asked for a refund. No response. I asked for them to send the missing items. No response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
If you are in the market for slipcovers just don't buy them w sweaterpics! Yes I was dissapointed because they did not fit but equally as important they would not honor the 30 day return. They were slipcovers squished into a bag. They seemingly looked used. I never purchase anything if it can't be returned simply because you just never know. The measurements were correct they just would not fit. Don't buy w this company.
Sweater picks originally sent the wrong sizes of linen sofa pet covers. I contacted them by email at their support center and quickly got a response that they would send the correct size piece to me. However after over a month I received the package and now it’s a completely different color than I ordered. I had cut and pasted the image of sofa cover and my original order (with an image of the proper sofa color in it). I have written to them again and hope to someday get the order I paid for, but my advice is not to buy from this company. They’re in China, and there is little if any QA on orders.
This is a SCAM for sure. Do not order from these guys. I ordered a couch cover. One month later I receive a piece of upholstery fabric. No refunds.
