Ordered a Panama straw hat size XXL using their size chart which says XXL is for 7 3/4 - 8. I wear a 7 3/4. Was actually concerned it would be too big. Well it’s a size 7 at best. Hassle free returns is a joke. They offer a 10% credit and you can keep a useless hat. Return shipping is at your cost and equals or exceeds the value of the hat; that is made in China, not Ecuador. There’s a FB site where you can see more reviews like this that goes back over 3 years. Total scam! I’m getting my full refund through my cc company.

The cowboyhat came in a box that was too smal so it was all broken and the quality was bad, the shipping took too long. But you get what you pay for i guess.
I purchased a hat from TiendaHat.com based on the photographs and description shown on their website. Unfortunately, the hat I received was materially different from what I ordered. The brim was different from the advertised hat, the emblem/badge shown on the side was missing, and the hat I received was approximately 2 inches smaller than the size I ordered. I contacted TiendaHat and provided them with an opportunity to resolve the problem. Rather than acknowledge that the product did not match the listing, they offered me only a 15% refund or requiring me to pay for international shipping to return the hat to China. I do not consider that an appropriate resolution for receiving a product that is substantially different from the one I purchased. I am now disputing the transaction with my credit-card company and will provide the original product listing, photographs of the hat I received, my order information, and my correspondence with TiendaHat. I am posting this review so other consumers can make an informed decision before purchasing. Based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding this merchant and considering other ones that stand behind their product.

I had no clue that this was trash from China—until the tracking information alerted me. What arrived was not what I ordered. Completely misrepresented in their FaceBook ad. It was cheap and ugly. Buyer beware!
