I foolishly paid 99 cents for the results of an online IQ test through tryinnerly.com, which I found through a Facebook ad. There was no indication that this was anything but a small one-time payment, until I received the “welcome” email, which called it a 3-day trial and said it would auto-renew for $39.99 monthly. When I tried to cancel online, the site put me through multiple confirmation steps, offering cheaper subscription fees. When I rejected the final offer of $1/month, I repeatedly got an error message — not after a delay, but immediately as if the site had been deliberately coded to show this “error.” I never got a final confirmation on the site, I had to send customer support an angry email. Numerous people on Facebook have posted about getting surprise-billed by this outfit, and some either didn’t notice the charges right away or had difficulty canceling.

I signed up for an IQ test with a kind of personality assessment re the answers I had given. I did not sign up for further tests or a paying a subscription for the same.
They charged me a sub off my credit card. And left two items on the card showing a nil balance. Which is suspicious. I cannot remember leaving my cc on their files. I am very careful about this. Just wondering how they got these details. Anyway my bank is looking into it..
I tried to send them an email to their support address but the postmaster of Hotmail could not apply it.
So I believe this outfit to be a rogue outfit

I did the 99p test via FB and like many others assumed this was a one off charge. I was not aware that I was subscribing to anything. Certainly there was nothing obvious about ongoing subscriptions. Fortunately the multiple attempts made today to take the subscription from my account was flagged by my bank as suspected fraud and my card stopped. There is a note that no payments should go to this company. I have been issued a new card and other details. I accept that I was foolish when I took the test for a bit of fun but this company, while not strictly fraudulant, is definitely hiding the information regarding ongoing subscriptions. I received nothing from them till this attempt to take a payment. Avoid at all costs.

I loved the test. I am 4 days post chemoradiation therapy for cancer. But I loved it. When I feel better I will take again. I think I did excellent for 80 yr old post cancer treatments. Thank you

Finally seeing my iq score definitely made me feel better. Its very accurate especially when it tells me that I rely more on intuition when it comes to logic. That's true and probably the main reason I don't notice patterns when I should. It to the point honestly. I honestly cannot think of anything to improve on, on your end. This was very informative and helpful. I definitely recommend. It's 99cents to try how can you go wrong if it's for you then you decide to go on with a subscription or not. Simple. I paid for an IQ test, but I have been unable to access the complete results and review my mistakes.
I want to see which questions I answered incorrectly and what the correct answers were. Instead of providing the complete report by email, the company has informed me that the payment is non-refundable.
My subscription has been cancelled, but my main concern remains unresolved: I paid for the test and want to receive my complete results.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. Be careful and make sure you understand the payment and subscription terms before purchasing.

I have read various experiences regarding payments. I’d like to share a good one. I found out - rather late - that through an initial IQ test I had subscibed to a monthly subscription. I’ve reached out to their customer support team and the issue was resolved swiftly and satisfactory. They did return all payments. A textbook example as far as I’m concerned.
