Best budgeted rugged phone

Had 2 now

Had 2 now. Mist phone last me days to months. These have lasted me years. They are really well build. My first was the flagship at the time and I couldn't fault it, my current older model one had issue were the bank did not accept the the NFC. It would work with other NFC cards.

I haven't gotten a chance to use a ulefone phone before because it's quite expensive here in my country but from the from the pictures and videos I have seen the company is making a pretty good and strong phones but it will be more nice if the shapes are made more attractive and the weight is been reduced.

Pro Armor 18T

This is my honest review after almost 1 month of using it. Anything else I didn't mention is good or working as expected. So I'm gonna write on what is excellent and what is bad. This way Ulefone could improve on it and you can make a decision if it's the right phone for you. Shipping was the only excellent thing I could say. Others I'm not sure at all. Now the bad stuffs: - At this moment, I've experienced up to 6 times what many user has gone through, phone restarting by itself. Not sure why, but it's really damn annoying. - Front facing camera claimed to be 32MP, but when doing video calls, the quality is really bad. Color correction is so bad that you don't look like you. - UI definitely needs more work. Imagine having to bring out an app one by one from the drawer to the home screen. Right, tell me about it. I spent so many hours on it. At this point I'm already starting to feel that the 18T is way overpriced. - There is no way to select a page to be a home screen. - Screen is big but it's such a waste that it can only fill 4 icons per row. - As far as an android is concerned, the first home screen cannot be customisable at all. It requires the date and search bar to be displayed. Quite sad to be honest. Totally not customizable. - Sound quality is not good. There's only 1 speaker at the bottom right. So when you hold your phone, be sure not to cover, else you can't hear anything at all. - Did I mention that there's no file explorer? OMG. I had to download a separate app for this. Thank goodness there's CX File Explorer. -Battery life doesn't really last as long as I'd expected. 9600MAH lasts as long as my wife's iPhone 13. For the price point, I'd expect more from Ulefone. If they can magically make that happen over a remote update, I'd be glad. If I knew then what I know now, I'd probably gotten myself a Xiaomi 12 Pro instead. (no this post is not sponsored by Xiaomi, I'm just disappointed that Ulefone priced their phone too high, but my expectations were not met.)

I like the design and many of its features. But I wish Ulefone Power Armor 19 had support for SD card, IR port and 5G connection.

Tough mobile phones

The rigidity and ruggedness of the Ulefone has impressed me highly. I was soaked by the rains but my Ulefone Power Armor 14 remained in good condition. The company is doing well in producing both high-end phone and the affordable one but with the same compactness. Thank you.

Power Armor 14 Pro Max

I have the second Ulefone in a row. Had to buy a new one after 2 years because the glass on the camera broke. So i got myself a Power Armor 14 Pro. I like the big battery. Also it is fast enough to go a couple of years with enough speed. However i did expect more from the camera. it is good, but feels a bit slow. Then again, it came at a very decent price. So i am satisfied.

The mobile phones they make is affordable and friendly to me, as well as the community i live in. The quality is the top priority i like from the company.

Good outside poor inside

I love the rugged phones designs and the bells and whistles! However the one phone I had from Ulefone (Armor 3w) worked (very happy there's no bloatware) 2 years and 1 month, then it turned off and didn't turn on (during its life it was randomly stuck on starting screen a few times as well). Hopefully they solve the firmware issues and it'll be perfect!

DONT BUY A ULEFONE !!!!!

DONT BUY A ULEFONE !!!!!. From day one this phone did not work and even after doing factory reset it worked for a minute and then started to crap out. They wanted nothing to do with it and the store that I bought it from had already cut ties and wouldn't help either. ULEFONE are nothing but money grubbers selling a crap product.
