Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many consumers deeply appreciate the exceptionally durable build, rugged exterior design, and dependable long-lasting battery life offered by these specialized mobile devices for daily use. Reviewers frequently mention that the hardware handles demanding outdoor environments very well, providing reliable overall performance and great value for money.
However, some customers also noted frequent hardware issues, mentioning that essential components like internal cameras, sensitive power buttons, or chargers stopped working shortly after purchase. Furthermore, many people experienced frustrating difficulties and unhelpful responses when attempting to resolve these technical problems through the manufacturer customer service and warranty departments.
First: The charge port stopped making sufficient contact after the 8 day. Second... 8 weeks later, it won't stop rebooting, and it isn't a complete reboot either. Seriously! I started at about 2pm today (December 21, 2022) and hasn't stopped. I took the SIM card out of the phone, but it didn't stop. Basically, the phone is garbage. I spent $290 I think, on the phone. And it became useless to even call my provider after 50 days. So... what does a customer in my shoes do? I need my phone to make doctor's appointments... please respond!! You have my e-mail.
I have owned an Ulefone Armor7E for apx 18months. I was really happy with it for some time. Yes, it weighs a ton...but that means reliable right?! Seemingly not. I purchased the handset in large part because I work in the construction environment. It will and does take the occasional knock. Nothing severe, but slips/short drops/splashes in rain etc.
No sooner did it have one or two of these and the speaker started going funny. Then at max volume, I struggled to hear the caller. Better still, the USB-C headphone adaptor thing stopped working so I could even use headphones. Then the damn camera lens took a hit.
Any hope of getting customer service help. Not a chance. At all. The response I did get was humorous on another level. This has actually turned out to be one of the few times I 'gave up'. Quickly realising outside of the main warranty(which in retrospect, I certainly wouldn't bank on), even technical assistance was going to be too much to ask for from these guys.
I have since been advised, with the compromise in weight/cost etc it would be better to purchase a non-tough phone, then house it in a super tough case. We shall see...but I wont be buying an Ulefone again!
hello I have a ulefone Note 12 and all of a sudden the apps on my screen I go to clear them and there back again I go to push them up out of the way and they stop half way why is this
Ive had ulefone armor 9 about a year & i find it pretty good. The fingerprint scanner works fine & i love its position. I haven't had to deal with Banggood since i bought it but i know they're not great if you have a problem once you've bought an item. I can say that i accidentally left phone on roof of my car & it fell off about 3min later (i know because i wondered what the noise was) About 15mins later after it all gelled i was standing at a busy intersection in the rain, at about 7pm (busy) trying to find my phone. When i was able to run into middle of intersection & grab it, it was face down, it was playing a youtube video which was the last thing id done. It looked like ice on the screen but it was the screen protector that i had unknowingly stuck over the top of an existing screen protector that was on the phone pre purchase. After peeling them both off the screen was perfect. There is a fair few scars around the outer edge of the phone because heaps of cars were driving over it. I was pretty impressed. Camera ok & i wish it had an app drawer. Ive uploaded 3rd party app drawer but its not without issues.
Company claims indestructible phone but won't back it up!!
This phone is awesome when it works but if it stops working like mine then forget it!! Dealing with this company is like banging your head against a brick wall. I keep telling them the phone screen just went dark and haywire and they keep looking at the bright specks on the picture I sent and saying it's water damage! So its not covered. The goshdarned thing wasn't anywhere near water! Stay away from this company, too pricy and the company doesn't back up what they claim for durability at all!! Avoid a costly mistake, get a TLC Phone. I am tickled pink with it as it replaced my ulee.
DO NOT BUY A ULEFONE PRODUCT. I have their Armor 9 and right out of the box it didn't work properly. I didn't know this till more things started going wrong. I did a factory reset and then all this stuff popped up and started working so I thought ok good. Now it's happening again, no notifications and the camera won't focus to take a picture. This phone is a POS and no one should buy from them. I contacted them and they accused me of dropping it on the ground or in the water. This shouldn't matter as this phone apparently is HD and was built to take a hit and a plunge. Clearly not if they are accusing me of that. And they are putting the warranty on the company I bought it from who has completely disconnected from Ulefone because, again, obviously their phone are junk.
I purchased an Armor 8Pro because I read that it was a rugged phone. I’ve owned cell phones since the 1990’s and never cracked a screen. This screen cracked about 8 months after purchase. I contacted ulefone and they said to bad not their problem. I did not treat this phone any harder then the Samsungs I’ve owned over the years, but none the less the screen cracked. I would not recommend this phone.
Bought a Note7P about three and a half years ago. I think it upgraded the Android OS once, if that.
Unlike their "Armor" series this isn't advertised as waterproof, bulletproof or any other of the dubious claims of that sort loads of phone makers pretend their products have. So I never tried to find out how "rugged" this is, although I did once drop it screen down onto concrete with NO ill effect. Pure luck I bet.
The only downside on the phone is its camera shots just aren't in focus. They look it at first, but zoom in to any degree and the mush is clear for all to see.
I got an Armour 8 may 2021 and am just about to replace it.
In that time, I have experienced:
Positive:
- Absolutely no drop in battery retention, only need to charge once every two days.
- High speed internet connection speed, I have great net at home and it downloads apps real fast when connected.
- No slowdown, I don't use it for many intense things, but I can run like 10 work related apps at once easy.
- IT HAS A FRACKING AUDIO JACK
- No screen scratches, no cracks and only minor cosmetic bumps elsewhere and I drop this thing CONSTANTLY.
- Dropped it in the toilet at least once, no water damage.
- No screen discolouration.
Negative:
- While there is no damage, the orange panels on the sides have faded where I touch them and the Power and Volume buttons have peeling paint.
- The multifunction button stopped working about 5 months ago for little reason.
- The speaker sometimes gains super grainy and heavy bass sound making audio impossible (this happened before it was dropped in the toilet) but not always. I think this might actually be a software issue
- The camera, frankly, sucks. Nothing else to say about it.
- While the WiFi is perfect it feels like the Bluetooth drops a bit somewhat all the time. This has only happened recently.
Overall, I have definitely got the £170 I paid out of this, no major issues just a bunch of small ones that make me want a new one.
I'm very disappointed about this phone. I was amazed when I got it, cause it was almost indestructible. Well, it ended up being nothing like that. I dropped it into my 20cm deep shower by accident (I picked it up inmediately) and it stopped working, the screen got white lines and it started functioning badly. An hour pass the accident, it just shutted down and died completely. Now I can't turn it on or charge it. I wouldn't recommend buy this phone if you want something water proof or "any" proof, even an Iphone would do better in my opinion and based on my experiences.
I got this phone for free, Because someone break my iPhone, Things I hate about this phone
-The camera quality is poor and take long to focus, The one I got only support 3g,Struggling to do basic task, when I plug in my sound the sound still playing through the internal speaker, The speaker sound like a cheap toy and head set, The microphone sounds thin, I wouldn't recommend this phone unless you going to give it to someone you hate.
Worst Company to ever produce phones, Worse than LG!!
This Phone and the company Just Suck,
I Bought the Note 9P On Christmas, I was expecting something better but instead got a large, slim phone which sucked, Sometimes I get stuck on the Game mode app for hours, DAYS!
The Screen kept breaking. In just 1 year the phone was damaged. 7 cracks and small chunks of the screen broken.
The Finger print does not even recognise my finger print and only 1 camera even worked, the other 2 were just fakes. the Case turned yellow within just hours of cleaning and the case also didnt work. The case got easily scratched.
Worst phone I ever had, worse than one of my phones I owned back in 2009.
I purchased a ulafone 12 a month ago,
and it is the worst mobile I have ever used. They advertise the battery power but in reality it is poor, needing recharging every 2 days
As for receiving a signal on wifi, it cannot hold for more than a few minutes, although only 2 metres from the router, whilst my other 2 phones, computer in use simultaneously retain contact.
These people are cheapskates, and retailers worldwide should refuse to sell this product
Bought ulefone 12 2 months ago . Waste of money worst mobile I have purchased in my life. Slow as a week in the jail. And sound is a joke. Nothing good about it
This phone made me want to put toothpick under my toenail and kick a wall
For real worst phone i ever had, and i already buy cheap phone but its literally a well wrapped poop in a box
I,ve had the armor 13 for about 4 months now,as I'm typing this on day 2 since last charge, I'm still on 71%.Only problem I'm having is google pay is,nt working.this is my third ulefone and never had a problem with any of them
I would like to express my concern about this Chinese company.
The following smartphone has got 13200 mAh that should long last, at least, a week with a normal usage of without FHD long videos or 12 hours of Tik Tok. After 7 months, I have to charge the battery every 2 days, it is become completely useless given that the strong feature was the huge and immense battery!
Also, after have contacted the email provided from the Ulefone siteweb, because from ebay they just ignoring you and ebay is absolutely useless ( 30 days money back guarantee....30 days, after that, sorry!)the Ulefone service asked me to send a "video" of the problem!!!!!!
So please, do not give your money to this people. They are just laughing, reading our reviews. They sell and make money and, in the meantime, we are struggling to ask a normal customer service. AVOID IT PLEASE!
PS: any possible message from the customer service to reply to this review is fake...I have read many times, we offered to you a replacement, refund, bla bla bla...CLOWNS!
this is the worst phone i had ever since mobie phones came out
to navigate the phone with its android sys is next to impossible, as everything i was ever used to is not there
cannot even download files or pictures into my laptop, cannot find a Settings button, it does not have Back button, and watching you tube tutorial how to set it up, i dont see anything on my phone to diplicate instructions.
it said its a waterproof phone but in the instruction slip you need a magnifying glass to read it says keep the phone away from water and moisture.
its a total garbage phone, and any aps i installed keep disapearing and have to reinstall
cannot even find camera without installin an app
i have it for 4 months now but my patiencehas run out. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE !!!
This company are thieves. They do not warrant they screen saver that they send with the phone. Watch their videos showing you can pound a nail in with the screen protector, LIES. Every time it falls out of my top shirt pocket when I bend over it falls 2 feet onto gravel and the screen gets damaged. I have only had it a week and they say go buy another one from china. I bought this phone for the ruggedness it can handle, I guess I was scammed. Beware of the lies ulefone tells you, they don't even have an online manual for this phone, supposedly made in March of 2022. As well, nobody else makes protectors for this phone, beware!
